Note: Use of a standardized avatar will help keep this style clean looking. I've noticed when allowing multiple size avatars (on most styles) it will cause mis-alignment of the postbit (avatars would have to be pretty large, but it does happen). So if you see that your postbit display is out of line, increase the postbit column width containing the avatar and other info, or consider using a avatar width smaller than 160px in width. |
Wow. Very very good!
Would love to use it but the colors don't fit my board. |
Great style, which I may install.
|
Nice, clean & professional looking!
|
Ecxellent, as always, Mark :)
|
Nice style... but you should fix those screenshots.
|
Thanks everyone. Glad you like it. Screenshots aren't all that important as there is a live demo but I'll see what I can do.

Hi Mark, thanks for this but I can't find the logo PSD file, am i missing something? :)
|
c1.psd <--- thats the PSD for the header / logo area. It's contained in the zip file.
|
markbolyard, You made a fantastic style!! and you really should sell this style, i would be the first to buy!
I Rated it as excellent. I Marked it as install. I Nominated it! You Really deserve the best! WELL DONE! |
Nice style.Realy good ;) installed.
|
Your AdSense code remains in the ad templates - probably best to remove it or risk the wrath of Google.
|

Thanks for any update :) |
Upgraded to 3.7 Gold. Be happy to know, if you installed the RC4 version of this style, there is no need for a update.
|
Wow, thanks for this fantastic Style markbolyard. I like it very much and I think I'll use it when I'll upgrade.
Just a question. How can I delete the small rectangles around the text in the postbit? What I've to edit? |
Simply revert your postbit_legacy template and they will be gone. Alternativly you can go to the style's css, scroll all the way to the bottom in the additional css area, and remove the border from
Code:
.postbitfields { Code:
.postbitfields { |
Hello Mark,
First of all, this style simply rocks! I am about to upgrade from 3.6.10 to 3.7 and since my current style won't work on 3.7, I have to switch styles. I tested this style out on a test forum and it looks fantastic (especially with vBAdvanced). I got one question though. Since I am using VBAdvanced and integrated the Forums in it, I don't need the log-in box in the top right corner. Is it possible to remove that box and also make it so that when I enter the banner link in StyleVars, it shows the banner in the entire box. At this moment, I've got a banner which I use for my website. The width is way too big but on my site, the banner just stops where the screen stops if you get what I mean. So with a small resolution, you see less of the banner than when you use a higher resolution. I want the same with the header of this style. So no log-in box and no background color. Just the banner and that the height adjust to the height of the banner but the width is set to the screen resolution. I hope it's all a bit clear lol. If not, I will give it another go lol. Thanks in advance mate. Again, awesome style, I really like it! Take care, Bozza |
This is certainly one of the best free styles currently avaliable for vBulletin. I have tried using 3 paid styles, however support isn't very good and this one just seems to work. For some reason my users are really happy with this style as well. Looks like I will probably be sticking with it, thanks mark;)

Like the template, but have a couple of problems!
The main reason I went for this and installed was because I liked the thread post positioning. ie all the member info underneath the avatar on one side. For some reason, it still shows similar to the default VB format. Avator shown and other info still in the same postion and not moved. Is this purely a CSS thing? I'm just wondering if it actually imported the all the CSS stuff for the template? Sorry if this seems like silly questions - but new install and still finding my way around! |
installed ,
friendly and nice |
Dear Mark,
I like your design and uploaded, but I dont know what problem it showing like http://www.visiontogether.com/?styleid=4 please have a look why header and screen not align same like your , Please guide me how to solve. Also can you tell me , how I can change the google advertisement code to my adsense ? Thanks in advance. |
mvmtravel, you have the image directory uploaded to the wrong location. The images should be located here: http://www.visiontogether.com/curves
As far as the adverts: NOTE: To Remove Advertisements, you simply go to the ADMINCP - > Style Manager - > Edit this styles templates - > Revert all Ad location Templates to the default vBulletin value, or if you would like to use your own ads in place of the sample ads, edit each ad location template and replace the ad code with your own. guv, go to the admincp, vbulletin options, style and language settings, and choose the postbit legacy version of the postbit. |
Mark, Thanks for quick reply. My name Is Ajay... After I unzip your curve directory, I can not see any image directory? Where I should find image directory or images, I just unzip your files, and load all the curve directory under root, is I am mistaking something?
|
There is a directory in the zip called curves. In it, there are several other image directories such as, attach, avatars, buttons, editor, gradients, and so on. That curve directory needs uploaded to your root directory so your directory structure looks like this:
public_html -----------curves ------------------attach ------------------avatars ------------------buttons ------------------editor etc. |
Hey Mark. First off, thanks for the design bud.
I am having a bit of an issue with the Thread Display title when someone clicks on a thread. If you look at the tab name in either IE or Firefox, it will say "'Thread Title' - After Dark#post1". Which template do I need to edit in order for the page title to read as "'Thread Title' - After Dark"? Thanks again. |
Mark, Everything is same as you suggested, because I just unzip your directory and load directory under root http://www.visiontogether.com/curves , and all directory under curves... there are 14 directories under curves. But I don't understand where is the problem?
|
http://www.visiontogether.com/curves/buttonbg.gif
If your directory structure was correct, I would see a image at this url. I don't know what you are doing. When I try to access http://www.visiontogether.com/curves/ i get a forbidden error message, thus, you either have something set that doesn't allow access to that directory, or it doesn't exist. You are welcome to contact me via PM, and if you want, I would be happy to FTP the images to the correct location. I'd just need temp access. Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you. |

It would be in the SHOWTHREAD template which is not modified in this style. The code is at the top of the template: Code:
<title>$thread[prefix_plain_html] $thread[title]<if condition="$pagenumber>1"> - <phrase 1="$pagenumber">$vbphrase[page_x]</phrase></if> - $vboptions[bbtitle]</title> |

Another thing I would like to do, is to have alternating colours in the forum threads. (Im referring the the thread page inside a forum - not the posts themselves.) At the moment, they are still displayed with vertical column colours. I'm assuming, this is going to be something similar to the solution you've suggested above - but not too clear! Any ideas? Many thanks again. Really like the design. :) |
