I was the first one to download this at the forum :)

Its a great modification.

ChampTyler 04-16-2008 09:01 PM

Hey there,

I will be testing this on my forum now - Thanks for this!

Jase2 04-16-2008 09:19 PM

Already confirmed a few bugs. Were working for an updated release. Please continue to report all bugs. :)

auctionguy 04-16-2008 09:34 PM

This is badly needed I think! I am going to wait until it is tested a bit because I am running 3.7 RC3 on a live board as it is but I can't wait to use this mod!

Excellent!

TTG 04-16-2008 11:19 PM

Demo database error .. obviously needs a little work 'eh !?
Think I'll wait for a stable release :D

Jase2 04-16-2008 11:28 PM

I aren't getting a database error. However, a few bugs have been fixed and we could see 'beta' 2 pretty soon.

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 12:48 AM

Released Beta 2.

Loads of fixes done, many thanks to John9371.

Keep them coming, bug reports, feature request, comments?

Thanks, Paul.

Thanx,

Jacquii.

Sorry about the demo link, i've just been editing a template. Anyway its working now.

I am just in the middle of taking screenshots.

With regards to vBulletin 3.6.8 PL2, I believe it should work, although I have not tested.

Thanks, Paul.

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 01:10 AM

Screenshots Added.

Thanks, Paul.

rob30UK 04-17-2008 01:10 AM

paul, please dont require people to register to see the demo.... either make the demo public or post up screenshots - either one will make for a much more received mod and more downloads.

rob30UK 04-17-2008 01:11 AM

lol,you just posted as i did. thanks for the screenshots

rob30UK 04-17-2008 01:11 AM

Actually... where are the screenshots?

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 01:13 AM

They should be in the original modification post rob.

Thanks, Paul.

rob30UK 04-17-2008 01:14 AM

Same error here run the latest version Vb

youradhere4222 04-17-2008 04:54 AM

Are you planning on removing the requirement to register to view the demo?

jerx 04-17-2008 06:31 AM

Very useful mod!

Do you have to register to submit a ticket? Is it possible to let guests submit tickets and requiring them to input capture and email address (twice, to avoid typos). Some people might have problems with registration, so allowing guests to submit tickets would be helpful.

Thank you!

Have sorted this error, it was a typo error with regards to a phrase.

Thanks, Paul.

Subah 04-17-2008 09:36 AM

Cool i like it , Thanks :)

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 10:18 AM

Updated the Download to fix the Department Database error when creating more than one department.

Thanks, Paul.

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 10:36 AM

Now fixed Bosco, sorry about that I forgot to update the product file, can happen when someone is sending 10 messages on msn a second.

Thanks, Paul.

Paradigm 04-17-2008 10:45 AM

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I will be watching the development of this one VERY closely. Great job and good luck in exterminating the bugs.

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 10:48 AM

Right, Bosco Wong if you give me chance to sort things out instead of bombarding me with MSN Messages I might be able to get a working product rather than error after error.

I have once again, updated the download, so please download and re-install.

Thanks, Paul.

KURTZ 04-17-2008 10:52 AM

Paul just wondering is possible to redirect a ticket to a different user which isn't an Admin?

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 10:56 AM

I dont understand what you mean Kurtz, do you mean can other users reply to tickets rather just admin usergroup?

Under usergroup options you are able to define who can manage tickets, if allowed, any usergroup can manage tickets.

Thanks, Paul.

powerful_rogue 04-17-2008 11:01 AM

Hi,

Thank you for this mod! Its a lifesaver! Up until now ive been using a shabby 3rd party script.

One problem ive got is I cant see the text in the Navigation or Administration section. Ive attached a screenshot.

Which template will I need to edit to change this?

Many Thanks

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 11:03 AM

The template is HCENTER_SHELL, I believe it is something to do with the style you are using.

Might just be a case of changing the id field of the links.

Thanks, Paul.

powerful_rogue 04-17-2008 11:08 AM

Thanks for the quick reply.

Im looking in the template but a bit stuck! Which part of the template refers to the css of the text colour in the navigation/Admin section

Thanks

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 11:13 AM

I am just guessing here because I cant replicate the bug, but in the HCENTER_SHELL template find class="$navclass[mytickets]" and remove it and see if the link appears?

Only do it for one link and test it, then you can update the rest if it works.

Thanks, Paul.

Thank you :)

I gave that a try but it didnt work. I did however change $navclass[mytickets] to vbmenu_option and it now shows up a treat :)

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 11:32 AM

Ok thanks for the reply powerful_rogue. I will update the templates now to avoid any future issues with other installations.

Edit: Updated for Next Release.

Thanks, Paul.

i mean exactly this :)

anyway Paul, is possible to improve this hack with the possibility to give at a specific user(s) which can manage the tickets?

PaulSonny 04-17-2008 12:13 PM

Bosco Wong, if you read announcements and notifications, not all features are working, such as notifications.

Kurtz, I will try and work on a solution.

Thanks, Paul.

KURTZ 04-17-2008 12:15 PM

thanks mate :)
