Virtual Zeppelin

A bunch of amazing musicians recorded separate tracks for the song, and then they combine them into a video which acts as a virtual cover band. So far they have just done one my favorite songs, Ten Years Gone.

It's absolutely amazing (sounds so close to the original), and I know there are some old rock fans here who will appreciate it. It's pretty neat what the internet can be used for.

Jimmy Morrison and the Doors are the true Classic Rock Gods. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Blue Oysrer Cult follow pretty closely though.

Virtual Zeppelin's perfonmance was really great. If someone played the song on radio 90% will think that Led Zeppelin is playing. I hope to listen their other covers.

The closing credits tell you who they are, I think.

5 relatively unknown people with video cameras from different parts of the world recorded their part of the song. The different videos were mixed together.

It was all done over the internet, which is what really makes it interesting. The resulting sound was top notch, too.

The mixing was the hardest part I'm sure, but they seemed to pull it off with style.

That was incredible...(except nobody could ever bang it out like Bonzo) ;)

I would agree with that at one time, but those days are gone.
