Ads in 3.6.8?

I created a skin in 3.6.8 and then imported it to a 3.7 board and added it as a child style to the default skin. Any idea why the ad feature of 3.7 isn't showing up on the new skin?

you made it in 3.6.8...that's the answer...if won't automatically pass the Ad Location templates to 3.7.. you would either have to make it in 3.7 now or manually add it in in your custom template.

The Ad Location templates are in the skin but they don't show up.

You need to add the variables; such as $ad_location[ad_navbar_below] at the bottom of the navbar template. Still unsure whether that would work, though.

oh well do what Jason said.

5th-Level 04-02-2008 11:11 PM

That worked. Thanks.

Jase2 04-02-2008 11:14 PM

Good to hear! You just need to add the others now :)

Hmm. Can anyone tell me where the others are?

And I turned on the navbar ad and the navbar vanished.

You just said it worked... What do you mean by you turned on your navbar?

5th-Level 04-02-2008 11:33 PM

I have no clue. I put an ad in then navbar template and it like disappeared but I just deleted the ads. Thanks anyway.

Jase2 04-02-2008 11:37 PM

The whole navbar disappeared? Or was there just a white space between the navbar and header? If the latter, then that's perfectly ok, you just need wait for your ads to start showing.

Bradley_Wint 04-02-2008 11:39 PM

are you using google ads?

as Jason said...if the ads are not there, they don't show...it's like nothing existed...if they are there, they should show...
