what you don't know can't harm you...

actually, you will have to search on google for "vbtt" .. the only torrent tracker for vbulletin on the market...

Actually, there are a couple of torrent trackers for vbulletin. vbtt by toolmanwill is one and then the XBT tracker by a guy named Olaf. Both of those are paid scripts. The trackers themselves are all free, it is the integration that costs. I actually ended up writing my own based on a very old vbtt script.

sunnylikbeckham 03-21-2008 03:07 PM

what are their prices??

visit their sites, you will know... this is not the place to discuss commercial products here, so we do not give prices...

toonysnn 03-21-2008 03:18 PM

Actually the price is free I think..

Interesting. He used to charge the same price as Olaf. Perhaps he charges for help though.

Nope, many are legal. You can 'torrent' anything you want. My kids play WoW and Blizzard uses bittorrent to download the latest upgrades/revisions to their computers. BitTorrent is simply a technology used to spread content fast. It doesn't have to be illegal content.

xplan2007 04-10-2008 11:38 AM

I recommended XBT best for 100 EURO . You should connected to XTF ( his member name here )
Great suppport if you mail to him at working time he will reply you very fast

That's an illogical comment. It's like saying that we should all stick with dial-up because broadband is used only for downloading copyrighted material. Are you associated with IRAA?

Anyway, XBT is a great product. Unfortunately I had to uninstall it, but I'll try to enable it again once I am able to upgrade all my hacks and forums to 3.7

No from the IRAA... I have my own Copyrights, I help people to file for copyrights, trademarks & patents... ;) [Library of the Congress Baby! I DO NOT need more]

Not all P2P is used for piracy not all torrents are either its used for what the person feels is right to download yup 85% is illegal but not all so that comment was unnecessary as the above person said about dial up lol no logic to it either

Rick

Uuuh! what I said was: 'Sadly' + 'it's used'
I worked for a Buffet few years ago, and for evey company I know I don't see how Torrents can be use to transfer documentation and/or information, mostly they use Microsoft solutions [i.e. SharePoint, Intranets, etc]
But back to the topic, I don't think of something where I can use Torrents on my board, mine is a Corporation and it can be legally dangerous to provide 'the means' to underage kids. Capish?

xoutlawz00x 06-25-2008 12:43 AM

so does this work for 3.7.1?? vbtt the php version?

Dismounted 06-25-2008 06:49 AM
