Martini
 

My first original theme for vBulletin version 3.7, Martini showcases many new & original features -

1. forum categories are separated on forumhome
2. 95% original images.
3. Many of the images in .gif format have been replaced by images in .png format. I've started doing this because I find that png images display better than gif images.
4. Many thanks and credit go to the artist who designed the martini background and granted me permission to use it!

Installation Instructions

1. Click Install, then download the zip file to your computer and extract it (I put it on my desktop, it's easier to remember where I put it!).
2. Open your FTP program, go to the forums' images folder and create a new folder called styles.
3. Now upload the martini folder into the styles folder, so that your image path is images/styles/martini/buttons, for example.
4. After you've uploaded the folder, open your admin control panel on your forum, and import the xml file, by going to Styles & Templates > Download / Upload styles > Import Style XML File.
5. Click on the Browse button, locate the xml file for martini, and double-click it so it loads in that box, then hit the Import button.

There is a folder of blank images (header and buttons) in the zip file for customizing.

You can use the xml as a base for a completely different style, but please don't use these images to do so.

one thing about you Ohiosweetheart is you make lots of different styles, a good range.

Updated to RC 3

OSH,

There are two XML files, Martini and MartiniB6. Which one should be imported if at all? I'm upgrading. Thanks.

grrrrrrrrrrrrr....I upgraded it to RC3 and forgot to remove the beta6 xml. lol.
The other one should be imported. I'll remove the B6 and reupload the zip. Thanks for letting me know hun.

EDIT - ummmm... I see only the RC3 xml in this zip?

Ooops. I think I know what I did. When I downloaded the update I overwrote the previous version and the B6 might have still been in there.

I just installed it at fabsboards.com. It looks great!

One slight problem. The networking menu under "Quick Links" is missing. What am I doing wrong?

ut oh - I have NO idea. It works fine on my forums. Try this - delete the theme from your admin CP, and reinstall it. See if that fixes the problem.

If not, I'm stuck. :(
