Credits to bchertov for the original hack.

This hack takes any emails sent by administrators only that has the <html> tag present, and sends it as an HTML email message.

This has been bested and confirmed to be working on vBulletin 3.6.8 & 3.7.0 Beta 5.

No, if you do html then it is html, there is no way to have it send out both html AND non

I'm guessing the idea of this hack is to allow you to send out HTML Formatted email via the Email all Users via the admin CP. This will come into effect if I add <html> to my page.

So... I build my newsletter in Dreamweaver, copy the source code into the box and send. Should send as HTML Format not Plain Text?

If that is right.. I will be installing!!

A little hint:
This mod works only for Admins which are in Admins by Administrator primary group! It won't work if you are an Admin by Administrator secondary group.

Although not that important, it would be nice if you could change you product in that way that it doesn't make a difference between Primary and Secondary group.

But even without that this product ist very nice, thanks :)

I tried to send a @hotmail.com but it don't works all the others accounts works but not hotmail.

Any idea why?

what was the return error? I use it for my site and users have hotmail and it send to them fine, could it be possible that the user your sending to with the hotmail address is no longer valid?

any option to send html emails without getting the emails to the spam-inbox to our members?

i need a newsletter system that works with the mx so that no hoster will mark our newsletter as spam

any ideas?

Each host has a different method of sorting out spam blocks and getting your site added to a whitelist.

I don't imagine that you'll *ever* see this in a mod.

I'll install if yes, although in his hack it did not list re-usable code so I need to know this, Installs for me are based on morals as well.

i am trying to send a html email to all the members, i tried sending but when the email is sent and received, it shows the html and it is not converted so they can view the email as a html page.

please help!

It's tested to be functioning correctly on vBulletin 3.7.0 all the way up to 3.8 RC1.

Has this been verified by multiple people that it is only displaying HTML code?

Also make sure the <html> tag is at the beginning of the email and </html> is at the end.

I just installed it on 3.7.4 patch lvl 1 for our forum Christmas card and it worked great when I tested it.

Sadly I have un-installed the (Premium)" I paid for as the support is slow and I just cant seem to resolve the issues with my customer account, software download within my account and so on!!

It seems that the premium is not ready for people to pay for IMO!
