What Donation System LITE Is:
Donation System LITE is an addon for the Payment System. It fully integrates with the Payment System to allow for donation payments. Donation System LITE will allow site Admins full control over their donations, with the ability to track monthly or yearly goals and perform multiple searches from your admincp.

Required Programs
You must have Payment System and it installed before installing this Add-On. Here is the link to the Payment System. LINK

It is automatic when you run the install of the Payment System to transfer the payments to the new system still leaving the other modifications alone. This software in no way interferes in the other mods above so you can keep them installed and active while testing and merging over.

Works for anything 3.5.x+ I may have to remove the action order for 3.5 but works for everything tested on all versions.

nice one m8 am interested in this.The bit where you have reached so much % of your goal,can that be made to be shown on index.php page - also does it reset each month to show a new graph etc ?

You select it in AdminCP the reset time to either every month or year. Also donation bar can be put on any page you would like or globally on all pages. It works for CMPS as well. It has instructions in the zip on how to do everything. It is all real easy and straight forward.

I have tried this at 2 forums and received errors.

Did you download and install Payment System lite first as in the instructions guide?

Download payment system and install that then install donation system. Donation System is an Add-On to Payment System.

So uninstall the donation system including files to keep it easier for you. Then install payment system then go on ahead with this mod again. Should have no issues. :)

Look at the picture attached it is your site and shows drop down menu working. That is one place they can click to donate as well as the donation bar where it says Donate Now. Remember to go to AdminCP and customize the settings to your liking. They work straight from the get go but some may want more permissions for usergroups.

Try to donate , theres no where to actually click
all the settings are enabled but the bar on the index..for now hopefully :D

AHAH very weird just noticed that. Let me check it out real quick on your site.

DUDE I can't believe someone else didn't catch that or comment on it. Yeah re-upload new donationsystem.php file and override and all is good. I turned off the setting to enable paypal in LITE and forgot to remove the conditional for it. All good now try again :)

Not a problem customer service is #1. I am on comp 20+ hours a day :)

New fix please re-download and run the XML and click update bubble. As well as override the donationsystem.php file which is in forum root/.

This was to fix the paypal redirect issue.

For those of use that use CMPS, is there a way to have the goal information, progress bar, and % of goal reached and a link to the donations page within a module? Also where would I find the code for the "Donation" link in the navbar that it auto adds? I would like to move to a different navbar as I run two navbars.

Other than these two fixes I am loving this hack and the payment system hack.

I plan on releasing a module for cmps for thoses who wish to move it rather than have it under navbar.
All you need to do is shut off the auto add link feature in the Donation system->main settings menu and in the description it list the variables you can use to place it where you want.

Bug found , when anyone donates no matter what group you set it to move to it moves the user to the guest user group

I will look into that right now but sounds like you have settings wrong in that section. Are you using MOVE TO or ADD TO? Also YOU can NOT leave it BLANK thinking it will do all usergroups. YOU MUST set who to move. Sorry for confusion let me know if this helps will add more info the that ACP line.

Another thing PAY close attention to how you put in usergroups TO CHANGE (TO MOVE) IT MUST BE like this:
2,3,5,6,7,9,10

NOT
2 3
OR
2;3
OR
2
3

IT MUST BE COMMA separated usergroups to change/move to your designated group above. Here is screen shot. To show you what I mean.

i tried both settings just how you showed also it was my config protected admin that was moved :(

Both settings PLEASE be very very specific on what you did with pictures and results. I just double checked code and tested on 3.5 3.6.8P2 and 3.7B4 and 3.7B5 and all worked perfect. So if your admin account got moved it was because you had (in last picture example):

6 (admin) in usergroups to move to X group. Just go to your mysql and user table and change your user back to usergroup 6 or if you have another admin account you can login to VB adminCP and go to edit user and put to admin group and everything is back to normal.

Users to move to donation group you should only have group 2 (registered) unless you have other groups that you have created and want moved for some reason. Again all these settings are set for you at default. All you needed to do was create a new group for the donors (again don't have too and have system off) and then put that group #id into the system for system to move users to that group. If you did not put a group X then it would set the user to guest group.

It seems some people may run into issues with this as well not following directions so I will add some more security to prevent this.

Please look at image below that is how you should have settings (this is default just have to fill in the usergroup you create for donors (ID).

I was thinking about having the system auto create the group for you and enter the ID but not sure how people would feel if it did it auto if people didn't want to use that feature. If you guys want it to auto create the usergroup and fill in all info let me know I will do it.

I have had zero issues with this, I have a total of 24 user groups with 16 of those as staff groups, and I have 3 registered groups with 1 being the normal registered group (the other 2 are overrides for infractions so they are secondary groups) I only have usergroup 2 being able to be moved and has been the only group that has been moved when a donation is made by anyone.

Not sure what your saying here?

If you cancel a payment on paypal it will cancel out the payment in the system as well as redirect back to home page of your site.

The info for that is within the AdminCP: Says if you have auto insert off then here are the values to add. Very straight forward. If you need more help on it at www.allwheelcoding.com there is a full thread on how to add it manually to a custom template.

Great mod! and so far i havent had any issues but i do have a question. can you reduce the width of the donate section so it will fit neatly in my main page

Do you have a custom theme? I am seeing slight issues with people with custom themes will have it solved today and issue a release.
