What Payment System LITE Is:
Payment System LITE is a complete system that controls payments and how they are received via backend interfacing between your vBulletin server and payment method gateway server. The beauty of this marriage of servers is quite simply automation of the payment process as well as security of the transactions for both you, the administrator, and your users. With the Payment System installed on your forums, you will be able to bring in that much needed income to not only keep your forums alive, but also to help defer costs of doing so to the users of your site without having to bug everyone and beg for money.

This seamless integration of any payment method as your backend payment processor not only provides your user with a well known and safe payment processors, but you are saved the hassle of opening a merchant account with your banking institution as well as saves you time in the process as it takes only a few short minutes to sign up with current allowed methods of payment if you are not already an account holder there. It also keeps your users and you the site owner informed on the status of payments with its notification system built in.

Required Programs
You must have have one of the Add-Ons for Payment System for it to work. Here is the link to the Donation System LITE. Product System, Subscription System, Goal System coming soon. Make sure to install this program first before any Add-On.

Hmmm..after reading the description...I am still a little confused as to what this is or does.

Payment System Lite is the core of the program and is required for the Donation System Lite addon. It is the basically the payment handling portion ie paypal integration, google integration, Instant Payment Notification(IPN), notification system to send confirmation to users on their purchases etc.. and tracking of users who make payments to your site. Its all backend in the admincp. While Donation System Lite is more front end to your users. Does that clear it up?
The reason its seperate rather than one mod is due to planned releases of the following addons which are in Beta right now:
Product system
Goal system
Subscription system
All of these will utilize the payment system as the core and users will be able to download the addon that suites their needs. So upgrades and changes are easy and without complications.

Don't forget it is easy to transfer payments from a system you already have without effecting the current systems.

Got...I understand now...Thank you...I'm looking forward to what the "Product System" and "Subscription System" are going to be.

You can check out our site and get a taste of product system. It is in beta right now but most the stuff you would see is payment page and download page. The other pages I am still finishing up or are admin only. Wanted to release and get people used of the systems before releasing 2+ Add-ons. Also if you dled the lite from our site that is using the system as well. Product system is NOT limited to software distribution it can be anything like selling shirts or merchandise for site. More on a small scale not as a cart type system. More hey I need some club shirts or stickers and so on and they can buy it right there.

I will take some screens would be best way. Most of the stuff is all back-end the front end is not done.

This link above just shows you interface on software purchase. It is similar to if you wanted to do an actual item say a shirt instead of license section it becomes info section. It is all setup already in tables and admin side to do it. So info section may have shirt picture and details on it etc.

Do you have a screenshot on what happens after the purchase? I am actually looking for the download screen.

Yeah I will take a screen shot of it now. For software you have to enter:
username
password
subscription ID
homepage URL

Attached are a few images. I removed password for now cause I have to program google checkout with password stuff so left it out for now. But it does have secure password issued.
The list page will give you a view of all products bought within the month and can select which product to view month on or select all products. As well as has a stats page and user stats so people can see what they have bought and manage product subscriptions etc.

Ok added what PMs look like as well check out all images

FYI don't try to use that username and pass or subscription ID ahah cause it won't work was just showing you live what happens. I have my own password system as well for google and other payment systems. And can flip paypal's on or off and use mine.

This is an outstanding hack for my purpose. I purchase the pro version and i must say it has alot more features then the lite..Including the donation hack pro.Excellent support Too.

Great work guys!

I installed the Lite version with no problems and it works fine :up:

This mode does the clever stuff between PayPal/Google. My users donate using this mod which then gets confirmation from PayPal/Google. The mod then puts them in the donators group and sends them a thank you. I dont have to do it anymore :)

And my donations have increased, I think its because it looks good on the index page.

I'm going to purchase the Pro version :up:

Purchased Pro edition. Works great. Great mod. Very secure. Nice Features.

Installed on 2 forums now... can't wait for more add-ons.... Excellent support provided by AWJunkies

Ive just installed Payment System Pro and Donation System Pro both installs where very easy and well worth the small investment :up:

I just love the ability to remind users that its been x weeks/months since they last donated !
