What Donation System LITE Is:
Donation System LITE is an addon for the Payment System. It fully integrates with the Payment System to allow for donation payments. Donation System LITE will allow site Admins full control over their donations, with the ability to track monthly or yearly goals and perform multiple searches from your admincp.

Required Programs
You must have Payment System and it installed before installing this Add-On. Here is the link to the Payment System. LINK

Easy to Transfer Payments From:

PayPal Donations For vBulletin 3.5.0
It is automatic when you run the install of the Payment System to transfer the payments to the new system still leaving the other modifications alone. This software in no way interferes in the other mods above so you can keep them installed and active while testing and merging over.

Selectable to yes or no if no add the bar where you want

I HAVE TO MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR!! IT WILL NOT EFFECT ANY CURRENT DONATION OR PAYMENT SYSTEMS YOU HAVE. Have no fear when installing. Your below mods will be unaffected by the new system.

If you currently are running either Paypal Doantions 3.5 or CYB Paypal mods you will not loose any information on your donations. When you install the Donation System it will import all the user donation info into the Donation System automatically.

I was disappointed in other donation systems but this looks good, I'll try it, thanks. Just one question: will this also be supported in the new vb3.7?

I will put a blocker and notice within software in just a second to stop this from happening and people from not downloading both.

Also it DOES work with sub domains and so on.

That is the reason I created this system. I needed something so much more advanced and informative.

Thanks I have read and installed payment system. When trying to save main donation settings I get this error:

Did you uninstall donation system before loading payment system? Must install payment system and all files first. Without donation system installed. Then install donation system. You can NOT have donation system present then load payment system then reupload XML and click overide for the donation system. Has to be a fresh install of donation system. You don't have to worry about this once payment system core is loaded on site. Once that is there you can install uninstall all you want any Add-On that we provide.

The error you are getting is stating that the donation settings did not get inserted which means that the program was already present.

This look familiar ?? :) It is your error you tried to override donation system after you installed payment system. You must install payment system first then install donation system :) All in the instructions and on the thread post. It is all good. Putting a stop to this with some code right now.

I'm testing the system now but the button to donate is not visible? (orange paypal button).

Re-download the zip and replace donationsystem.php I fixed that issue earlier today. That goes for everyone who downloaded within first hour or so.

Installed and looks good but is there anyway to change from USD to GBP.Sorry if this has been asked somewhere else

Ok solved. Now I tried to click the button but the page is just renewing it's not going to paypal? Also donationsystem.php shows a blank page. I probably missed something else but not sure what .

[edit]Oh.. no euro support in LITE means uninstall for me, too bad it looked promising.

Issue will be sorted we found a problem and it will be corrected shortly.

Fixed please re-run the XML and click update bubble as well as override the donationsystem.php file in forum root/

I'm pretty sure sooner of later people are going to ask this question. Are there any plans to make it work for credit systems out there? People who donated get awarded X amount of points, etc.

Already done and integrated with VBcredits, YAAS, and welcome panel and many other things. This is a PRO only feature and will be released in next version of PRO. I have had it on my site for over 4 months no issues but like to test a lot before doing public releases.

Purchased Pro edition. Works great. Great mod. Very secure. Nice Features.

I have an issue. I have it setup so it does not open a new window. Now lets say the person gets to the paypal page and decides they don't want to donate and login and changes their mind. The link to return to my website appears as the email address for the paypal account and not for the website. Now here is a better kicker. If you click it instead of going back to my website it gives you this page:
So what would be the reason for doing this? You don't have the web address and you kick the member over to a donation page for your mod? Don't make sense. I don't see anything I setup wrong.

I WOULD IN NO WAY EVER kick anyone to that page. That means someone has accessed a file or tried to access a root of a folder within my system. SO please send me your URL and I can take a look at what is going on. DO you have your site as domain/forum/ or domain/ Let me know. IF YOU PREVIOUSLY CHANGED PAYPAL SETTINGS FOR their payment processing system they have for redirects and cancel redirects etc THIS WILL EFFECT MY SYSTEM and is probably what is going on. Will take me 5 seconds to tell you what is going on.

Umm..dude...you have an index.html file in every directory with that in it that has that on it that it kicks back to. I changed the index.html(s) file so it is fixed for now.

AHAH that is for security YOU MUST have a html access denied file in all folders within software. Look at VBulletin it has them too. Or else someone can do this www.yourdomain.com/folder/ AND gain access to ALL files within that directory. It is programing 101.

Now if you give me your URL and more info I can help SOLVE why it is going to that page in first place. YOU nor a user should EVER see that page unless they do what I stated above to access a directory directly.

It isn't going to that page. Read what I wrote my friend. (My url is in my sig file as well) It is when you click the link which is as I posted above it kicks you back to it. I know you need an index.html in each directory for security or other security measures which I have access to. I was only telling you what was on the index pages in each one.

Now back to why the url is my email address for paypal and why it is going back to the deadfile/security index.html?

Yeah I am going to release update in a second that may fix your issue as well but if not you need to go to your paypal account and I will help you at that point. It should not have your Email address to click at bottom but your URL so this shows me you have messed with settings in paypal account.

Cause your site is directing to forum/paymentsystem/ which is not right it should be forum/
So it is either a setup you have in paypal that is overriding my system which it most likely is OR the fix I am releasing will override your paypal settings and be all gravy.

What settings in my paypal? The only settings in my paypal should be my paypal account ie email address used for the account. Correct? Also my url settings are correct.

Oh wait you don't have a premier or Business account do you?

Does that mean do or don't do the update?

Do you mean on PayPal? Yes I have a Premier account.

No do the update. It should fix your issue. If not let me know.

No..didn't work unless I was supposed to update the payment system too.

If you say so. I checked all the setup. I don't have anything set wrong. All paths are correct and everything was installed according to your install instructions.

Right now it looks as if it is having issues with your global command. The file exists so that isn't it. I tried changing it to require_once('./global.php'); and it didn't like that either.

So what is the verdict here? I at some point would like to have this full blown setup but I need to have this in working order.

You did install wrong. Please upgrade to latest editions of BOTH donation system and payment system. Make sure to run XML as upgrade on BOTH and override ALL files and delete community/paymentsystem/payment.php
