Users appear loged out after they login.
 

I seem to be having some login issues. I haven't changed any of the options for cookies or anything. I just seem to be having problems staying logged in unless I click "Remember Me." My site only uses 3 modules so I don't believe it has anything to do with them. Any help is greatly appreciated. I will reward who ever can help me solve this problem.

What is your session timeout value?

session timeout is 900. I believe thats the default.

What modifications do you have installed?

vbAdvanced
GARS
vbdigishop

I really don't know what is causing the problem then. Have you modified any files?

No files have been modified. Could the problem lie with my login box being in the header template?

have you changed the cookie settings a freind of mine had this problem

I thought that also, but the problems lies with not clicking Remember Me, so cookie path/domain shouldn't be the issue.

Dismounted, even though the problem hasn't been completely resolved, I would still like to offer you a skin of your choice. Pick a skin at my site you like and its yours. If you don't have a need or the themes of the templates don't match your content, then the offer is still good for any upcoming skins. Just quote me on this when your ready. Thank for the help bud.

I have this Problem too!! Thats how I found this thread.

I just have Vbadvanced. Same log in problem. Unlss i click Remember me, it logs me straight out after 1 second!

Please help :(

Does this happen only if logging in from vBAdvanced?

What are you cookie prefix, domain, and path settings at? Also what is your website and forum domain?

i have the same problem, and it only happens when a user logs in through vbadvanced (v3.0.0 installed). even with the remember me option checked the same thing happens :(

if a user logs in through the /forums/index.php then there is no problem.

Then this is a problem to take up over at the vBAdvanced website.
