Mod tagged. :)
I don't suppose you can alter it so that it will display future registrations? You know, to anticipate spammers and all. Hahaa. JK. :D |
Sure, for you I will. ;)
This is my first attempt at the auto template edit and I did it all by trial and plenty of errors. I had a couple of good hacks to learn from so that helped. ;) |
Looks good, will keep this in mind when I upgrade. Thanks.
|
thanks good jobs

Nice!
Heya Boofo, good to see you back around these parts again buddy. :) |
How you been, sir? ;)
|
Thanks for this! Will check this out later. ;)
|
It was nice if it show who has registered today and not only if it shows the Score.
|
*INSTALLED* :D

Thats a great little addition, thanks. Is there any way I can pull that information to use elsewhere on the site though, such as the 'Stats' module on VBA ?
|
You would probably have to do another query to get it to show in VBA.
|
Thanks for the quick reply Boofo.
You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but any pointers on how to do that ? |
I don't use VBA, so I'm not sure where you would put the code to run the query for that. Look at the XML and it shows you the query you need to run. ;)
|
Ok, thanks, I'll have a play ! :)
|
Let me know if you run into any trouble and I will try to help if I can. ;)
|
This and the one that shows the startup date with the days, hours, and minutes the site has been online would be nice as one package. I'll reserve this for later on.
|
Just make sure to click install when you grab them in case there are updates. ;)
And they both will work on earlier versions of vb, by the way. As they are 2 completely different type hacks, combining them wouldn't really make a lot of sense. |
It would be great if there was an option to have this in its own block/section in the What's going on area on the forumhome, and actually lists the new register user's member names.
|
I thought about doing that but on boards like mine it would be a very lonely box. ;)
And on really busy boards, you wouldn't want the extra query load something like that would bring. A catch-22 no matter how you look at it. |
I had it that way for about 2 years with no problem. It was 3.5 version from someone else too. Now, I figured it would be nice to have all my mods updated to 3.7 versions, or others' related 3.7 versions. So I uninstalled the old one (which was in modification graveyard) and installed yours. I cannot revert now :P
If you could do this, I'd really appreciate it. |
Anyway to make it the last 24 hours, not roll over at midnight?

It's something i'd use because most of my members are in nz (+12) and the server midnight is a totally different time zone. So the last 24 hours would be far more relevant to everyone on the forum :)
Thanks in advance!! |
It shows according to the viewing user's midnight, not the server's. They would still see it at their midnight and you would see it at yours.
