Mod tagged. :)

I don't suppose you can alter it so that it will display future registrations? You know, to anticipate spammers and all. Hahaa. JK. :D

Boofo 02-04-2008 01:32 AM

Sure, for you I will. ;)

This is my first attempt at the auto template edit and I did it all by trial and plenty of errors. I had a couple of good hacks to learn from so that helped. ;)

Hornstar 02-04-2008 08:22 AM

Looks good, will keep this in mind when I upgrade. Thanks.

anestetic 02-04-2008 08:25 AM

thanks good jobs

We might not have any left by then. I'll try to hold one back for you, but I can't make any promises. ;)

mktrilogy 02-04-2008 10:57 AM

will install later, it.

ericgtr 02-04-2008 01:37 PM

Nice!

Heya Boofo, good to see you back around these parts again buddy. :)

Boofo 02-04-2008 02:20 PM

How you been, sir? ;)

Big Boss 02-05-2008 10:54 AM

Thanks for this! Will check this out later. ;)

redlabour 02-28-2008 04:18 AM

It was nice if it show who has registered today and not only if it shows the Score.

Bounce 02-29-2008 06:48 AM

*INSTALLED* :D

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. It will only show up if someone has registered for that day. Otherwise you won't see it.

exactly :) another tag for you Bobby :) (i love this without template edits)

muan 04-12-2008 09:05 PM

Thats a great little addition, thanks. Is there any way I can pull that information to use elsewhere on the site though, such as the 'Stats' module on VBA ?

Boofo 04-12-2008 09:18 PM

You would probably have to do another query to get it to show in VBA.

muan 04-12-2008 09:36 PM

Thanks for the quick reply Boofo.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but any pointers on how to do that ?

Boofo 04-12-2008 09:41 PM

I don't use VBA, so I'm not sure where you would put the code to run the query for that. Look at the XML and it shows you the query you need to run. ;)

muan 04-12-2008 09:43 PM

Ok, thanks, I'll have a play ! :)

Boofo 04-12-2008 09:47 PM

Let me know if you run into any trouble and I will try to help if I can. ;)

setishock 04-13-2008 05:06 AM

This and the one that shows the startup date with the days, hours, and minutes the site has been online would be nice as one package. I'll reserve this for later on.

Boofo 04-13-2008 05:09 AM

Just make sure to click install when you grab them in case there are updates. ;)

And they both will work on earlier versions of vb, by the way. As they are 2 completely different type hacks, combining them wouldn't really make a lot of sense.

Chadi 05-24-2008 12:25 AM

It would be great if there was an option to have this in its own block/section in the What's going on area on the forumhome, and actually lists the new register user's member names.

Boofo 05-24-2008 01:15 AM

I thought about doing that but on boards like mine it would be a very lonely box. ;)

And on really busy boards, you wouldn't want the extra query load something like that would bring. A catch-22 no matter how you look at it.

Chadi 05-24-2008 01:32 AM

I had it that way for about 2 years with no problem. It was 3.5 version from someone else too. Now, I figured it would be nice to have all my mods updated to 3.7 versions, or others' related 3.7 versions. So I uninstalled the old one (which was in modification graveyard) and installed yours. I cannot revert now :P

If you could do this, I'd really appreciate it.

Mum 05-24-2008 01:59 AM

Anyway to make it the last 24 hours, not roll over at midnight?

I have no plans (or incentive) as of now to do this. Have you checked with the author or the old version to see if he/she/it will upgrade the hack?

I could probably add a setting for that very easily, if you really think you need it. No one has asked for that until now. ;)

Mum 05-24-2008 02:58 AM

It's something i'd use because most of my members are in nz (+12) and the server midnight is a totally different time zone. So the last 24 hours would be far more relevant to everyone on the forum :)
Thanks in advance!!

Boofo 05-24-2008 03:05 AM

It shows according to the viewing user's midnight, not the server's. They would still see it at their midnight and you would see it at yours.

He has not created any mods since the 3.5 version, nor logged in ages. If you do this, I would appreciate it. I'd gladly give you a little donation at least.
