Display Reputation Comments Given

This modification is no longer available or supported.

This shows members who their last few reputation comments have been given to - in the same manner as their received comments. The list is collapsable and appears in the usercp above the reputation received list. The users current repping power is also displayed, in the same manner as their points total.

The settings for this modification are located in vBulletin Options > Display Reputation Given.

There is an option (3.7.002 onwards) to display this above or below the reputation received list. There is also the option for users to delete reputation they have given within a certain timeperiod (default = 5 minutes). This allows the removal of comments given in error (or regretted !).

History:

v3.7.001 : First release for vb 3.7.
v3.7.002 : Added option to display above or below received list.
v3.7.003 : ACP Options moved to their own group.

Nice mod, thanks!

Singularity 02-29-2008 09:07 AM

Will there be an option to have this listed under instead of above the received reputation later?

Paul M 02-29-2008 11:45 AM

I hadn't planned on it, but looking in the usercp template I believe it would be possible - the template hooks seem to exist to do it.

Paul M 03-15-2008 10:51 PM

The delete link (for each comment) is displayed as part of the reputation given list.

No.

verino 05-20-2008 10:01 AM

Hello Paul,

one thing I want to know,

Is this the same like yours in here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=168303 ?

Or they are different in user reputation displayed ? Which one is better ?

Thank you.

Paul M 05-20-2008 10:07 AM

They do totally different things, read the descriptions carefully.

There is also the option to display the New Reputation Comments counter as a Welcome Box Notification.
Then, the last hack of yours is what I need.

Thank's.

Paul M 07-08-2008 10:32 AM

This allows the user to see the equivalent of the "received" reputation, which is what reps they have given themselves.

It answers those questions always asked to staff by members of "can you see if I negged this guy or pos repped him?" or "can you tell me if I repped Mr.Mom in the last few days? it says I can't rep him again :mad"

They can simply look themselves and then bring to staff real issues that require time/attention.

Perfect hack. Installed cleanly and simply on 3.7.2.

edit: woopsy, forgot to "mark installed" heh... doing so now XD

^_^

Speysider 12-12-2009 10:54 AM

Is there a version that will work on the 3.x series? Couldn't use this hack on vB 3.x and it looks really good =(

Speysider 12-14-2009 03:45 PM

Any1?

Paul M 12-14-2009 05:03 PM

Your question makes no sense, this is a 3.x version (i.e. 3.7).

IndyParts 12-22-2009 12:09 AM

I have this currently installed but when I select the notification within the UserCP, it will not stay checked. Any idea? I have searched and searched and didn't find anything on this. Running 3.8.4

Paul M 12-22-2009 08:22 AM

Select the notification ? I dont follow.

Anne Lise 12-29-2009 10:50 AM

Can this please be changed to be compatibel with the 4.0-version?
