Display Reputation Comments on Members Profile Page
 

When a members profile is shown, this adds a display (at the bottom) of reputation comments that the member has received.

ACP Options are provided to ;

1. Turn the display on/off.
2. Limit the display to certain usergroups.
3. Limit the number of comments shown.
4. Restrict the display of who gave comments (in addition to the viewers existing permission).
5. Will not display comments for threads the member does not have permission to view.

The ACP options for this hack are in vBulletin Options > Reputation in Member Profile.

To install - unzip the XML file and import it into vbulletin via the ACP Product Manager.

This is exactly the mod I'm looking for but am getting

A conflict was detected in the bitfields. You cannot continue with the installation of this product until this has been fixed. The conflicts found were:
Bitfield Collision: prefixrequired = credits_cantearn

when trying to install it. Any advice?

One of your mods (something to do with credits) has a bitfield clash with a standard vb bitfield - you need to speak to the author of the mod (all bitfields are checked when any mod is installed).

Hm, no matter what I do the field is not appearing. Does it appear beneath the Visitor's Comments fields? Do I need to reset bitfields? I did have the vbCredits mod installed but temporarily disabled that to no avail. Still no reputation messages in profile. Ideas?

There are no bitfields in this mod. I cannot possibly guess at your problem without admin access to your forum.

Well, I'm not sure what was wrong, but it got fixed. It happened after I disabled the vbCredits mod, then re-enabled it. Maybe that wasn't supposed to work, but SOMETHING made the mod finally show up.

Maybe some suggestions for future releases:

1) Give users the option to show or hide the reputation comments from other users with a setting in profile.
2) Putting the mod in a tab in the profile page would be super sweet. :)
3) Ability to archive or save the comments (and different types - e.g. text input, by date, or ones received from the "Thank You" mod).
4) Sortable columns (by thread, date, etc).
5) Ability to manage them from the profile page itself (delete, save, highlight).

I, too, support the idea of having the amount of points given also displayed....another suggestion is to add this area as a tab in the member profiles...right now it just seems a bit out of place.

Love the mod and thanks. I am having an issue that they are not updated. Members have rep that is a month or two old not displaying. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change.

There is no time limit on the display, but there is a limit (setting) on the number of rows displayed.

Anyone have this working on the 3.8 RCs/betas? I see the product XML has a hard limit at the 3.7x series but I'm feeling idiotic and lazy enough to hack it. ;-)

It should work on 3.8 if you hack the install limit.

There is a 3.8 version (unreleased yet) - it will display in the profile tabs.
