Password resets, still wrong.
My users are having trouble resetting their passwords.
They reset them, and then they are still wrong. A couple of users have complained about this. (About 15) |
Why dont you give a little more detail, how they are reseting them and exactly what the error is after they reset them.
|
They reset the password. (You know, the randomly generated one.) It works.
Then they set their own password, and then it doesn't work... :( |

What modifications are you running? Any related to Login e.t.c.? Try disabling them.
Have you recently imported users or anything like that? |

Wow! Someone actually uses my hacks. :p
Anyway, what happens after the reset? The "new" password is wrong? Does using the randomly generated password work? |
Like I said try disabling the modifications related to Login. Namely Admin Log In As User and Multiple Login Detector. Does this solve the problem?

Its the ajax registration hack that checks for dupe usernames and password strength, i've seen this hack cause issues on other sites before and had to remove it myself from a site i admin at.
I've noticed that it sometimes creates the usernames incorrectly when a person signs up as well. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...e+registration Disable it and see if the issue is resolved. Your site is running a tad slow there as well. |
