I don't think prizes is enough to make your general forum stand out from the crowd. Also, a no rules forum is always a bad idea.

Just one comment for now - The screenshot just taken moments ago...
The highlighted part in lime green is what I'd call dead real estate...
You need to stretch the forums out to that width so the forum doesn't look so... bla...

Hum, actually, most of the boards i started had that kind of stats 10 hours after the opening... don't be too proud regarding stats... give the proper effort on your site and you will be rewarded!!

i didnt say i was proud, sorry.

I just meant im doing something good or i wouldnt have them to begin with.

No one is going to tell you how to make your forum into a succes. Best thing to do is just look at the other general discussion forums and see what they're doing. You picked one hell of a hard forum to start. Its going to be an up hill struggle to be honest.

I werent asking for that i was simply asking what they thought of it as many users suggest making the page width larger but then the other half disagree.
