This is good forum annoucement modification, and with this modification you can add easy modification and news with cool effects and easy management on your forum.

You can add icon on your announcement.
You can add text effect on your announcement.
You can have your own announcement style
You can add color,size,font e.t.c on your text.
Html is also available.
You can set automatically the announcement position
And much more...

Install Instructions :

1.Upload The product first and the folder "kc" upload on your Forum root ..
2. If you want to set automatically the announcement position go to
Forum home Temlates and choose the template FORUMHOME
a) In FORUMHOME find
$navbar
After $navbar put this :

$kcafnav
b) In FORUMHOME find
<!-- what's going on box -->
Above this code put this :

$kcabwgn
c)In FORUMHOME find
<!-- end what's going on box -->
After this code put this :

$kcafs

• If You want to have space after boxes you can edit the template with
  <br />
  or with :
  <p>
  Tag

You are done now. IF you have problems please write the problems on this thread..

One question: How i can change the displayed text to bold? I´ve write in the "Text Font" the following: "Bold" but in the forum the text is not bold. Can anyone say me what i must write in there?

Very good! Using it on my site and works great!

the Text Font options is only to set font like Arial e.t.c
Use html to make the text bold like <b>text</b>

Sorry but this is already built in VB 3.7. You can use HTML too to add pics and stuff. Don't see the difference.

and I have a problem how can I use this on vbadvanced portal??

I have integrated the mod in VBadvanced using a Module.
Its works but i need help because it only shows up on Forumpage but not on the Portal Home.

I think it can be made with THIS_SCRIPT Integration but i dont know exactly where i need to put it in.

Hi,

I applied this as instructed and i am still unable to view the announcements on the main page.

I edited forumhome, went into general settings and entered my own announcemnet and still nothing there.

Any ideas?
