This mod won't be updated for vB 3.7.x, the new mod thread is on the 3.8.x forum. Mark that thread as installed if you want to receive updates for the 3.8.x version.

This will add a fully featured radio and TV streaming player and stations library to your forum.

- Shows user's favorites and last played station in profile

This mod is "Re-usable Code", meaning you can modify it and release your own version.

You are responsible for the streams you add to your website. The mod author doesn't take responsibility for possible copyright infringements in some countries and with some stations.

Arabic and Chinese don't work with Ajax, so this mod won't work, sorry.

- changed order on setting usergroup permissions, requirements are now checked in this order: Half User > Full User > Admin > Banned User, checks for primary and secondary usergroups and userids for banned users
- fixed style issue with the station pages

- fixed member number not showing on "reported by" url (was using $user[userid] instead $report[userid])

- fixed bug with deleted stations reports showing (reports are now removed when the station is removed)

- made hardcoded option "Statistics Entries" into option in acp
- user name markups now consider displaygroupid
- station list breadcrumbs now shows "Category: All" instead "All Categories"
- mod name changed to "Radio and TV Add-on" (changed a bunch of phrases, changed radiostations.php to radioandtv.php, edited plugins, changed navbar code, edited javascript code, won't change phrases names though nor product ID nor db table names, it's a little wierd but it's ok)
- made hardcoded option "Stations Per Page" into option in acp
- changed look of "currently playing" station info and options
- created a popup window to view TV stations in bigger player windows

- moved group permissions to vb's permission system
- added "can view add-on" permission
- added window popup that shows who rated each station

Planned features for next version 2.1 (note that the features are my wish list, and may not be feasible so they are not final)

- on/off switch for each station info
- [s]check if Radio and TV text on navbar is hardcoded, and make it not[/s] it's not hardcoded, it's the phrase "rs_radiostations"
- make a system where admins can add they own players (don't forget support for flash, embed and object, just let them add the whole code with replacement variables)
- hide profile info if no radio has been listened or no favorites
- put javascript in a .js

If I try using this (only tried it in FireFox) if I try to change song FireFox comes up with an error and crashes :(

Here your radio is working normal. I had problems with firefox crashing on firefox 1.5, but since I upgraded to 2 it's been working nice.

everytime i go to change a station i get a pop up saying "this plug in has performed an illegal operation and you are strongly advised to restart firefox"

and yes i am running firefox 2

i'm having issues loading local stations and changing stations in 3.6.8, i'm using 2.0 FF and IE 7. both have the exact same problem. I'm also on a vista machine. I'm going to tempt from an XP machine in a min but i don't think thats the problem. I click add and it freezes. If i load the default statoins and select a different besides what opens, it also freezes. I want to say it's a browser issue but i'm not sure why or how.

I added the 240 UK stations (I know it's not to do with the Dream guy) but it doesn't seem to work. I get my forum URL before the URL of the media stream (got that from right click - properties).

Looked at the XML file and can't see as anything should be causing this. Any ideas?


UPDATE 1

I think it is because of the line breaks in the file, I will edit this save and upload as an attachement. If Dream wants to update it then fair play to him.
Wonder if anyone else has had this error or maybe it's just me?

I have changed the file and everything seems to be working now. File has been attached and hopefully Dream will update the link to this attachment.

Thanks, I personally didn't use that XML, but I'll wait someone else's confirmation this works before changing the link. The other XML had 100 downloads and no one complained about it.

WinXP, and why should i need to download that when the radio tv hack worked fine on 3.6.8?
i would hate to need to ask all my members using firefox 2 to download this.
