Image in Shoutbox
 

Hello guys. This is my first modification and is for users who have shoutbox installed in their forums.
You can add an image to the left of the shoutbox. here you can find a demo I hope you will like it.

Find the code below in the vbshout template.

looks cool... is the image a background? will shouts post over it?

yes it is a background and the posts are over it. In my forum I have a gif installed. and it is working very fine. Please check the demo :)

Best would be to post this as a tip in the thread of the shoutbox modification it is intended for. Posting like this makes not too much sense as there are more then 1 shoutbox modifications.

It would be better to do:

<div class="shoutimg">
mod coding
</div>

then in the css:

.shoutimg {
background: #hex url(image.gif) top right no-repeat;
}

Thatll work with Dream's too.

you edit your style main CSS just go to the bottom and add that custom CSS and then add the specified <div> tag around the specified location of your shout box

very easy to do you can also make the image location a custom member profile feild so they can change it to what ever they want

but im not going to go all in to that

I am using inferno shout box
anyone know how to edit it on that?
