If you install this modification you can add image on every category..
You can set width and height of images too...
It's rly cool :)

Instalation instructions :

1.Upload the product from begin

2. Open Forum Home Templates templates and find the template

The default 3.7 vb can do this.

go to vbulletin options and find Kc-Images on category - and Turn on the modification :)
Then go to Forums & Moderators, and go to Add new forum -> and you will find :)

it didnt work when i tried to put the image in it came back with a database error

Ya, got horrible database error with 3.6.8 Had to go back and remod the templates. Nice concept, but needs work.

Tested on 3.6.8 -- it works perfect :)

Make you sure turn it on, in the vbullentin options.

Is it possible to have two images instead of just one? For example, use an image for when there's no post, and then another for when there's a new post. Just like a normal vb.

Actually I think there's a bug with IE7. The Icons (normal ones) do not show up. Check out my site.

Ok i found the bug. It doesn't place the image size. It leaves the property blank. So IE7 doesn't show the image.

Yup it's definately the mod. I removed the width="$width" height="$height" part of the code and the icons now display on IE7

Is there a way to just do 1 section on forum catagories? I have 10 sections in forum catagories, the section I did works well but the other 9 has lost there old post Icons. Thanks Dave

I've added the code, enabled the product, added an image to the forum settings, yet it shows the regular default picture.

I did that. To make sure, I disabled and then reenabled.

Btw, you dont have to make new forums to make it work ya? Cause I just added the url to the "category image" field.

GO TO VBULLETIN OPTIONS AND FIND the kc images category options.. then turn on the modification from the options ;)

it is a nice addition but I have toi unistall it my members want to know when the new threads are and if they were marked and highlighted before.
Can we make an fix so that there are 2 pictuer otions.
One picture for foruma nd one for when there has been new posts on it since they last were there looking at the forum?

don't put the image link and the default icon will be set on your category

Any chance of getting a mod that puts a pic/banner on the same line as the category? Like in your screenshots to the left of where it says "never" and to the right of "Kire"?

When you plan to release it ??, because also I don?t want to loose the status icons in my forum, maybe you can put the imagen in the right of the status icons. That will be great.

Read the instructions please..i've tested and it's working good on 3.6.8

1. Install the modification
2.Edit the templates
3. Go to vbulletin options.. find the options of this modification and set the modification ON
And then you can use this mod.
