Pioneer Style
 

I need to give a special thanks to Zachariah for allowing me to slice up his image and use it as a banner.

I have included the .psd file and font, so you can edit the banner and put in your site name. You may also change the banner image.

You may not remove my branding in the footer, nor redistribute this skin. If you would like to pay to remove my branding, please contact me.

To install:

Upload the pioneer folder to your forum images folder.

In your admincp, click on Styles & Templates
Click on Download/Uplad Styles

In the Import Style SML File box
browse to the vbulletin-style.xml file that came with the download.
Select your Parent style, display order, and allow user selection
Click on Import.


*This is a fixed style*

*If you use this style, please click install*

The footer image still shows vb 3.7.0 beta 3, instead of the vb 3.7.0.

I like this, BUT can you make a non fixed version?

i can see some use for this, not bad.. but def needs to be fluid

It was brought to my attention that the default images were missing from the pioneer folder. I have added them to the pioneer folder and uploaded the new zip file.

You can use whatever buttons you choose. Nice picture you added for a banner. I reuploaded the zip file and it has the correct psd file in it now. It will give you the 3d affect for your site name.

I have a attached a matching "thanks" button zip file to my original post for download.

This is a fixed width style, not a liquid style. It does not adjust to screen size. Are you having a different issue with the page width?

that's may be because i am using Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template and you are using horizontal template on your forums

my forum contains adult content so i am not sure if i am allowed to post my URL here , i can send u link through PM system if you don't mind ? :)

I attached a photo on my test site with this skin. It messed it up. I tried a couple of other fixed styles. One of them did the same as my style, and the other became a liquid style. :eek: I tried the image here, and it resized and did not affect the skin.

I am baffled on how to prevent an image from doing this.

Anyone have any ideas?

http://x.dawnswebdesigns.com/forum.php?styleid=18. When I first installed this everything was fine...& I think I already had the CMPS. I noticed you all did too which is why I took the theme. I thought if it'd work for you it'd work for me.

It did until I integrated the forum page. Then the contact us, FAQ, forum, & arcade pages got all out of whack. The tables are too far over to the right. I tried to make them even smaller but it made it worse. Any ideas cuz I like this theme. :)

This is a fixed skin. If you have too many links in the navbar, it will not line up properly. I clicked on your link and did not see the skin.

Thanks for pointing that out. I fixed the .xml and reuploaded the new files.

Is there a variable in the style I can edit to make the white background a shade of brown instead of white that looks nice behind the forums? Example.

You are not showing up as installed. Click on "installed", and give me the link to your site.
