vBulletin_Dark Theme

First off this is my first style I had made and released to the public so please report any errors and I'll do my best to fix this.

Second I would like to give credit where credit is due most of the buttons came from Shelley_c her graphics called Dark Glossy Buttons and her wonderful Private Message Icons.

I would also like to thank Blumen Studios (Art & Design) for pushing me forward in designing this style.

I hope that you all will download and install the style to your forums. I made it as best as I could and worked pretty hard in getting all the colors just right.

New Install:
Please upload "vb_Dark" folder to your forum directory folder.

Once uploaded install the theme by using the vb_Dark.xml
*IF* images do not work please select the paths in the:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > <<VB DARK THEME >> StyleVars

Make sure all images point to vB_Dark/images/* Replace the * with (Buttons, Statsicons, Attach, Etc...)

Notice: You will see this release in vBulletin 3.7 Once it turns gold!

You might want to config the "Styles CSS" code. I checked out your site. Images are broken :(

Yeah I just fixed it, I put the vb_dark folder into images, now it's moved back into the root directory it's all good. =]

You also might want to remove "!Forum description" underneath you Categories.

Reload the original vb header template.

What kind of log out button are we talking about? By default the logout is in the top right.

half of the buttons that is on the live demo isn't even in the .xml.

the icons like /icons/icon1.gif etc. is all vbulletin's orginal icons whereas on the live demo it has it's custom one.

and if u look in the attachment i can't get the navbar icon to work neither the banner (circled in red). can you please provide us with a full finished skin download with the xml. thanks.

I really want to use this skin asap, but i won't be using it if this isn't fixed.

EDIT: nvm. i overwritted the vb_dark/images/ onto the /images/ in the forum root, so it works now.

One question. I've added my own header (image).
But there is a "distance" between the header and the main menu (user cp, FAQ etc.)
How can I remove the spacing between the two?

Another thing.

I've added Avatars to the gallery.
But it shows standard 10 avatars in the user control panel.
If the avatars are big, the layout (tables) will brake and it's very ugly.

How to change the 10 avatars to 6 or something?

Weapon just another question: i looked your forum and i saw that your tables (i mean the table_bg) have a "special effect" ... i wanna do that on my board (www.nowhine.net/board) so how can i do this? can you help me?

As a basic chickster and new to the whole forum running thang, i understand i have to re-upload the original banner part from VBully, but with your template, its quite narrow on the page.. lots of black space to the sides, is there any way of filling that? or can it be used for advertisements?

Scroll down to "Category Strips"
Background: #000000 url(vB_Dark/table_bg_image2.gif) repeat-x top left

Scroll down to "Table Header"
Background: #FFBA00 url(vB_Dark/table_bg_image.gif) repeat-x top left

Scroll down to "Table Footer"
Background: #FFBA00 url(vB_Dark/table_bg_image.gif) repeat-x top left

Scroll down to "Popup Menu Controls"
Background: #000000 url(vB_Dark/table_bg_image2.gif) repeat-x top left

That should sum it all up. If you have anymore problems let me know.

Weapon, i appreciate your assistance. But, being a non-technical blonde I'm at a disadvantage. You see, we have your template (which is fab btw) but the banner is posing a problem. Where and how do we download our designed one to your template? I've read 16 pages of 'header template' help, and its messed with my head :(
