Thanks a lot , but need some screenshots :)

Evolution06 12-10-2007 06:57 PM

Very awesome!! easier that most other hacks.. All you do is upload product and paste your codes in the boxes has a option to put ad's just about anywhere.. Although is there a code I can use on forumhome? Cause the ad's won't show on forumhome since it's all different.

iogames 12-10-2007 07:36 PM

C'mon Ziki!

;) screenshots

Edit: What about OpenAds? does anybody uses openAds to dispense Ads?

Reeftanksonline 12-10-2007 10:26 PM

The ads show up to the right. any easy way to fix this?

If anybody would be so kind to post a screen I would be thankful.

goorgoor 12-12-2007 10:38 AM

screens please!!!

maroceve 12-12-2007 11:04 AM

what would be nice is to be able to post a square ad in every first post ? automatically

theOZer 12-12-2007 07:38 PM

I apologize, but, do you have a "all you have to do is enter the html code" html code example. Do you use A tags, what? Sorry, but I can't get this hack to work; maybe it's what goes in the html code that I'm doing wrong.
P.S. Nice web site. Love the textured toolbars.
P.P.S. In the ACP part, should be "Show an advertisement," not "Show and advertisment." "Advertisements," not "Advertisments." Is "adverb" the abbreviation for advertisement? (Just trying to help you put the polish on this hack.)

You can enter any html code you want and it shouldn't start with <html></html>

kaptanblack 12-13-2007 11:40 AM

Thanks

ang2el 12-13-2007 01:46 PM

VB says don't allow HTML in the forum so what about the security issue with this hack, by the way can we have some SCREEN please.

Thanks in advance.

theOZer 12-13-2007 08:26 PM

May I have an example of some html code that you've used when testing this. I can't get my html code to display. And, good point brought up by ang2el, Post#20, do we also have to trun on/allow HTML code? vB says, "No, no, no. No HTML Allowed, no."

Ziki 12-14-2007 07:40 AM

No you don't have to enable that.

For example just add a simple link or an image.

mofeu 12-15-2007 06:55 PM

How is that works?

Ziki 12-15-2007 07:17 PM

Excuse me?

Sorry Ziki ,
My post seems rude....no,I didn't want that :(

Just I install it and i don't know how to insert banner in the forum.
I can see in vbulletin options ZH-HTML Banners but when for example i put html in The HTML code for your banner/adverb ,it doesn't work .

Can you please give me an example.

Thanks in advance

Ziki 12-16-2007 05:58 AM

Well firstly you have to check the yes option above the text area and then insert the html code :)

Robert Paulson 12-17-2007 05:33 AM

Please do NOT provide a screenshot. Anyone.

Ziki 12-18-2007 07:28 PM

May I ask why?

I'm trying a little reverse psychology. It's already been asked about 12 times and there has yet to be one posted. I figured I'd approach it differently.

Ziki 12-19-2007 10:21 AM

Good thinking :)
though I think it won't help this time :-/

foopy 12-19-2007 04:50 PM

I have not been able to get this to work either. I installed the product. Checked yes under the under navbar field, added html in the appropriate box and saved the settings, yet the ad does not show on forumhome. I'm pretty sure the html code is correct. If I manually add it to the forumhome template under navbar it works fine. What am I missing?

I too would really like to see someones else's html code to make sure I'm not making a coding mistake. Please?

Sofia 12-21-2007 07:10 AM

hi Ziki ! How are you ? :)

Thank you for your hack.

I've a little problem ^^
  • When i enable banners in showgroups, banners don't display in showgroups.
  • When i enable banners above vB copyright, banners don't display
  • When i enable banners below navbar, banners don't display
Moreover, when i use a custom style, banners don't appear. Any idea ? Thank you ;)

Ziki 12-21-2007 08:37 AM

This hack attaches to the html comments in the styles. So you need to have the html comments the same as in default style. And all of those locations have been tested on 2 different servers

OpenAds can be pretty server intensive and can slow the sites down quite a bit, unless you place OpenAds on a server of its own

flyaddict 01-09-2008 04:01 PM

I installed it, but now I have no idea what to do. I'm looking at the plug-in manager now. How and where do I put banners. Banner sizes? Sorry, New at this.

Thx for any help.

ovnnet 01-21-2008 05:59 AM

The best simple for you will like this:

Quote:

<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" align="center">
<tr><td><IFRAME SRC="freestyle_a/banner/main.htm" WIDTH="960" HEIGHT="150" MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" FRAMEBORDER="0" SCROLLING="no"></IFRAME></td></tr>
</table>
All things you need to do:
1. Add this code at the top of header template
2. Edit main.htm
