iPod Touch

Does anyone else have an iPod Touch? I am enoying my new one now... He he

Wouldn't touch an Ipod I prefer the Creative brand. I find the Ipod touch overpriced for a gimmicky technology.

I still love my hot pink Nano!:D And unless they come out with another pink one, I'll never part with it.

It may be overpriced, but it is nice... Really nice.

There is a 16 GB model.

Its a shame that they still don't seem to include built-in Bluetooth. I should be able to set the device on my desk and drag and drop pictures, music and videos to it without messing with cords. I can do this with my Blackberry already so it isn't impossible. I know the Zune allows for transferring music over wi-fi or device to device. The Zune also comes in an 80 GB model (for the same price as the basic iPod Touch) so that isn't impossible either. Finally Microsoft sells songs that are DRM free, over 1/3rd of what they offer. I guess Bill Gates is swinging his muscle to make his pledge of creating a DRM-free world a possibility.

Actually, if you go to this site, you will see a picture of an iPod touch that doesn't have OS X loaded (ha figures) and is running in debug mode. It has "Bluetooth" status being OFF...

They are pretty much the same thing.

I would expect Apple to include bluetooth in their deluxe variation of the itouch. Good buisness sense lousy for the customer. 8 or 16 gig would not cut it and i would always prefer wi-fi over bluetooth any day of the week.

If I wanted touch screen technology I would simply turn to my pda which can probably do anything an itouch can and a lot more.

Yeah, but Apple doesn't even let you update your songs and video via Wi-Fi unless you download it from iTunes. Just seems like they are neutering the technology.

I am hoping you can do a wireless sync soon. That would be an amazing feature.

Wanna know something really sad? I don't own an IPOD or any kind of anything like an IPOD, and never have  I'm just not away from the house very much, so there's no point. Though, I would like to get a very basic one for taking with me to the gym.. when I start going back. Who knows when I'll muster up the motivation to actually do that. ;)

I'd love a iPod Touch... If they had more memory. 16Gig wouldn't cut it.
