Looks very good! It really affects the look of the editor a lot.

I have to admit, they do give this area a nice feel but they could be better, and they will when I make the update after next with my v2 release of the editor icons. :up:

GREAT stuff! It really adds flair to the editor. I like the smilies too -- I'll try to find them :).

The smilies are part of the Wacky Emoticons which you can get at my site. If i'm not mistaken, there is one main pack and 3 addon packs to be found there. :)

Very nice. I'll be waiting for the complete set.

I'll try and get the whole icon set designed before christmas though I'm not promising anything and after christmas/2008 I can put in a little more effort into the v2 set which I said was going to be released after I finished up with the v1 editor icon set.

*Installed* Thx again Shelly, always bringing us the goods. Question...is there a way to use 2 different sets of smilies and have one set appear as the default under the drop down and a different set appear at the bottom of the editor? Not sure how to configure that. Thx!

Great job downloaded and installed. Just one question how can I remove the smilies from the left of the screen?

By default they are located on the right hand side. If your wanting them underneath you can find the modification Here.

I've managed to revise a couple of them (I thought go back to basics) and convey the icons like fam fam fam did. so I did. They're still not a complete set but I suppose a preview wouldn't hurt so members (who are using this pack and waiting for the full pack) know I haven't forgotten. Still working on the editor icon area as you can see so hopefully I can push a complete set out sooner rather than later.

I'm sure i did say they should be completed sometime in january and I'm quite sure this timeline I've set will still be met. :)

Wow, that looks strangely to near exactly like the one I designed for my own board last year. Even the color gif is exactly the same type of image I used. Globe is the same, but you used a diff globe. Quote is the same, etc.

Honestly I like it of course.

In mine I went back to the original B I U because the I never looked right and even our email systems and word program all use them. So I kept those and alignment the same, just recolored White, Black, and Gold for our 3 standard board text colors.

On most boards to near all, your icons will work great. On our stylized skins the chrome or gray of the editor stood out like a sore thumb though, so we styled that to look like the rest of the board. Therefore making the gray stroke you use to help keep the images clean and non-pixelated was not an option for us. If anyone else redoes or changes the chrome on the editor though, all of those images are going to have a gray pixel stroke on them.

I've never seen any of the icons you designed but I'm sure with the amount of stuff I have designed from time to time there will be instances when images look similiar to someone elses image. With regards to the matting problem I'm not sure whether you can change the format via the template but chances are you will and .png will fix the matte problems vs alternative background colours. :)
