Blue Darkness By Admin-Utopia.com

Not the most original name, but it's not the worst theme you've ever seen

The only images included in this one are the post buttons. The PSD to the banner is in the "images/custom" folder.

Support is offered to those who install it. pre-install questions/Comments are open to all. :)

I will write an instructions.txt for you. :)

EDIT // There you go. :)

ShawneyJ 11-25-2007 03:16 AM

Step 4: Upload the "bluedarkness" directory to your images folder.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
there is no folder called "bluedarkness" to upload to image folder.
sorry have i missed something here?
i would use the image folder but already have a folder in my images folder called images.

I apologize, this is my first mod submission and I'm still getting things together.

Download the new "bz.zip" I updated it to match the instructions.

When uploading to the Style Manager, should I have it set to 'Create New Style', or 'Merge' into another style?

This is one of the first few styles I've tried to install, and it turned out the same as the other two, which is not right. The formatting ends up totally different than the board usually looks.

I dig the colors and would like to get them to work. I'm totally new, so I'm certain the mistake is on my end.

Here's a couple of screenshots. The first is how the BD style looks loaded up, and the second is how the board usually looks.

Did you upload the image directory? Upload the whole file "bluedarkness" into your images/ directory.

Can you please provide a screenshot? That's odd.

AndyA: Go to Style Manager -> Blue Darkness -> Main Table Width (pixels or percentage) -> And add whatever you want the width to be.

Ok, edit the footer template and add "</div>" at the end. See what happens.

Great thing to happen on my first release. :(

No problem!

ok i found the mistake you did.

now no need to edit the navbar.

i found the solution!

just edit the header template! by this:

<!-- logo -->
<a name="top"></a>
<div align="center" id="ex_border">
<table class="header_rpt" border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">

<td align="$stylevar[right]">
&nbsp;
</td>
</tr>
</table>

<!-- /logo -->

Yes, I found it odd how it worked for you and I but not anyone else.

I would update the XML file if I was you jaycob, it has the fix to the problem in it. Maybe you aren't seeing it, but your members are. :(

Again, this is an awesome style, and I'm half retarded and totally new, so I guarantee the problem is on my end. I only need to be told once or twice, and when it clicks, it clicks. It just hasn't clicked for me yet.:D

I will be forever grateful to whomever can walk the noob through this.

I'm going to go ahead and thank MR. BOSS anyways, because he asked for it and seems to have helped the less new out! You rock!

Robert Paulson 11-28-2007 02:04 AM

Hang on: I just switched the display settings from 1024x768 to 800x600 and it looks good.

Please don't say that was already mentioned in this thread. :o

No, the folder into the images directory.

The path to the directory would be: forums/images/bluedarkness

Don't worry, I'm new too. xD

That's what I did. It's still not appearing correctly.
Here's a link to the board. Scroll down to the style selection box and choose something other than the Default. You'll see what I mean. Every other style formats incorrectly.

the url is http://www.audioandanarchy.com/ if anyone would rather type it in.

I appreciate the help.

Pandemix 11-29-2007 08:52 PM

Check in your Style Options to see if the image path is correct.

Ex:
images/bluedarkness/buttons
images/bluedarkness/statusicon

If they are like that then you need to check again that /bluedarkness/ is in the images/ directory.

Jongo 12-01-2007 10:27 AM

What font is used in the banner?

Pandemix 12-01-2007 10:47 PM

Trebuchet MS I think. I lost the PSD.

nbaphenom 10-26-2008 04:19 AM

Can some body upgrade this for 3.7.3
