SKULL1985 11-20-2007 12:25 AM

Will this work on 3.6.7 without any issues?

Also i don't know if anyone knows but is there a way to install a theme so all your edits from mods you have installed will stay with the new theme you upload?

miner 11-20-2007 01:48 AM

Thanks all for your comments...

Magnum164 11-20-2007 10:14 AM

The only thing I have noticed and was pointed out by one of my testers is the Quick links menu comes up when you clisk the menu bar at the top for every page except search.

miner 11-20-2007 11:06 AM

Thanks for the info Magnum164, i just noticed that i missed to close the 'span id' for the Quick links in the header template navbar tabs...

For those who have downloaded/using the style, pl add the </span> to the header template of the style as instructed below:

Goto> styles and templates> edit templates> header> find the code below and add the </span> in the place shown in bold

Code:

<span id="usercptools"><a href="$show[nojs_link]#usercptools"><img src="{IF}/nav_qlinks.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a></span><script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("usercptools", true); </script></if>

I will be updating the xml file in the zip soon...

Sorry for the trouble guys...:p

miner 11-20-2007 11:14 AM

Updated the zip file in my first post with latest xml file, the bug is been corrected now...

thanks for your support...

No problem.

Trouble - after all this nice work you have done. Not at all:)

I will make my correction tonight.

yes it will work fine with 3.6.7 - just ignore the style version while importing the xml file...:)

Magnum164 11-21-2007 01:25 AM

Only problem I have now is I have installed the vbadvanced CPMS and using it for my homepage which is outside my forums.

For some reason the header is not picking up the correct {IF}/images/ directory to my images.

I tried setting all the calls in the header to $stylevar[imgdir_misc] like the footer but still no luck.

Just to be clear.. It works FINE in my regular forums. Just trying to pick up the images on a separate page.

Just change the {IF} to http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/images/styles/santa/misc

change the forum to your actual vb folder, hope this helps...

If I were you I'd remove the style off your server and delete the style from the ACP. Then re-install it in the forum/images/styles/santa directory. It will be much easier than changing everything.

Virtualshiner 11-21-2007 06:20 PM

It works on the forum now but not on the portal

Fungsten 11-21-2007 06:28 PM

Forumaz,

Dumb question. All my forums appear below the left side panel, with white space next to the side panel. How do I make the forums to start to the right of the side panels?

TIA.

biagrin 11-21-2007 06:33 PM

got to say that i do like this.

Goto> styles and templates> sll style options> scroll down and find> Image Paths> under it > for example Button Images Folder = images/styles/santa/buttons add http://www.yourdomain.com/images/styles/santa/buttons if you vb is installed in the root or http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/images/styles/santa/buttons...

you need to change for all the options below the Image path section and save...

You must specify all your forums under a category i mean any category, you might have missed to do so, just check the forum settings and rectify it and you problem will be solved...
