Post Icons Forum Permissions
 

'Post Icons Forum Permissions' allows you to restrict post icons to certain forums.
vBulletin only allows you to set permissions to user groups.

Another feature of this plugin is that it adds an option to group the post icons in the submission form. These groups are collapsable.

That's pretty much all this plugin does.
The plugin adds a new admincp page to the "Post Icons" groups that will allow you to set the permission for each forum. By default the post icon groups can be used in all forums.

To install simply copy the 'pifp.php' file to the admincp directory and install the product XML. You will need to reload the admincp menu frame in order for the new menu item to show up.

Port from the 3.5.x release.

• Can specify the number of post icon columns (vb Options -> Message Posting Interface Options)

• Per category icons per row (settable in AdminCP -> Post Icons -> Forum Permissions; there was no better way).

what happens if a user doesn't choose an icon? is there a default icon for each forum? i would like that very much

Se puede hacer para que salga cada icono especifico para cada foro relacionado con es subforo, con la opción que cada usuario si quiere pueda cambiarlo, estaría interesado en eso, gracias

Is there anyway to make all post icon groups be expanded by default when making a thread or post? Some seems to be collapsed by default and it can be quiet annoying. Thanks.

Should be default.

To stop post icons being collapsed by default, set Icons Per Row to whatever number you want per row. -1 makes them collapsable.

I agree. I currently use this on a 3.8 forum and would love to still be able to use it on 4.0.
