this mod differ email validate after register , but this BEFORE register , u can test it :)

Ah.. I see now. Not a bad idea!

The only issue I see is members leaving. It might take too much time to register for a member.

But, otherwise I think this hack is better than the nospam and basic vB verifier.

I got this error after submitting an email:

I didn't see any difference. VB has default feature like this those registered user remains in the "User awaiting confirmation" group until they activate the link sent to their email.

So how is this different? or useful than VB default?

Although it varify before registration but the end point is same. In either case fake email holder can't use the forum. I was curious how is this better than VB default.

Anyway Thanks for this hack.

I know I'd appreciate a mod like this when a registrant with no valid email can't get to register.

Installed no error and on register.php is the verfication field but this step is missing:

I have no read/confirm rules page that means after clicken register is loading register.php maybe this is the problem?

I've deinstalled my 'No Rules Agree on Register' plugin, and your addon feeling good thanks. But is there anyway to use both?

I received this in a contact us email just now and verified this when I tried to register.

Thanks to the coder for his efforts though... :)

It would be nice if someone would simply write an integrated hack that checks whether an email is vaild or not, at the time the user types it in and hits enter.

I get a lot of spammers registering with fake email addresses that have a valid syntax, but the email address is not "known" and the email bounces.

UPDATE v1.1

working poprty with "AjaxReg" and "Remove 'agree to forum rules' step from registration."
Add - day,year,month (of birth) , in link's
Add - hidden var in form's .
Fix - error in language parse.
note - All other problems that we were made aware of, were correctly fixed.

This is much more productive aproach than default vb email checker!!!

GOOD JOB! Very handy add-on for thos who care about "real" users...

Sugestion:
I havent test it yet, but from the screenshot I propose:
Remove email registration fields from register form. It should be filled in according verification code automatically (no more email edit possible on users side).
Two reason:
1. Why bother user with filling the same data again (even twice - two email fields).
2. Avoid scam - user can fill-out different adress than verified (maybe you already check for this in your add-on script).
