How many pageviews daily do you get?

Here is an interesting poll. How many DAILY pageviews does your forum get. Remember, these are daily pageviews, not visitors. It would be the same statistic you would get for your Google Adsense "Page Impressions".

Are you sure you get that many per day ? That's a hell of a lot.

At Cable Forum we get about 40,000, vb.org gets about 85,000.

Hmm, I'm not sure then

Under my stats:

Visits: 3222
Pages: 100,954
Hits: 449,948

That's for yesterday. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but it also has monthly and so far this month 1st-10th nov it says:

Pages: 799,333
Hits: 3,372,902

If that doesn't sound right, can you tell me where I should be looking?

OK, now I am confused-

When I log into google, it says I get around 55K-60K a day for "impressions" but where the heck are those numbers in my stats coming from? I don't have anything that looks close to 55-60K under my awstats which is what I normally use to look at stats. Can anyone tell me where on awstats I can find the impressions? And what exactly is the difference between "pages", "impressions" and "hits" and why are they all so much different?

Different stats programs deal with this differently.

Visits: 3222 (Probably unique visitors per day, based on IP address)
Pages: 100,954 (This would be the pageviews per day)
Hits: 449,948 (This is every time anything is requested from the server, images, pages, js files etc. One pageview can generate a dozen or more hits)

So, yes you're getting about 100k daily pageviews. Not bad. Your adsense stats of 60k impressions per day are for your ads. Normally it would be similar to your pageviews, but if lots of your visitors have ad blockers or javascript disabled, you could have this discrepancy.

not sure if this is good but heres mine :

this is just from beginning of November

Reported period Month Nov 2007
First visit 01 Nov 2007 - 00:00
Last visit 12 Nov 2007 - 06:53
Unique visitors Number of visits Pages Hits Bandwidth
Traffic viewed * 3043
8620
(2.83 visits/visitor) 480684
(55.76 Pages/Visit) 1514488
(175.69 Hits/Visit) 78.87 GB
(9593.97 KB/Visit)

I have a paid memberships option that allows members to turn off ads, and quite a few of my members do subscribe to this. So, that would explain the difference in the adsense versus my stats program.

Thank you for your help with this. Here I always thought the hits were pageviews, so I'm glad I got this cleared up for future reference!
