Attachment permission error
 

I'm trying to uninstall the vBPlaza hack where I used to have it on my other forum by following the instructions in this thread, but I can't 'cause it's giving me a permission error. Fix please?

If you have questions/problems with a modification, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification.

There is nothing needs fixing - the instructions are right there in a great big code box .......

You're right, but I can't uninstall the product file from the ACP without the vbplaza_functions.php file. So I'll need to upload that first via FTP and then uninstall the product otherwise it won't work.

"You have not uploaded all of the files. Specifically includes/functions_vbplaza.php!"

Also Marco, I can no longer post in the support thread but it has been archived plus the mod has been removed. There is nothing much I can do about it.

Paul I think the issue is he cant uninstall without the vbplaza files.

The file seems to be password-protected so it requires a password. Do you have it?

What the hell is a .zip cracker? I haven't got that thing so I'm not sure if it'll be any help.

Well, to be honest, I wasn't expecting to get help from someone who's actually asking me to download some trojan/virus crap programs just so I could get the password. Why did you had to password-protect the files in the first place anyway?

funny how Paul enabled automerge doublepost in this forum because of this thread and in the same thread it caused problems.

I didn't edit the post, just removed the file link. Did you read the "automerge doublepost" in that post before?

I don't have vbplaza, as I said you can search google for it, there are many results.

I've searched for it many times and I still couldn't find anything. I think the admins in here are supposed to be helping me here. It's just funny how they aren't even bothered reading this thread.

You are just as capable of searching the site as we are - but in the case of vbplaza it would be pointless, it's not available from anywhere on vbulletin.org.

So what am I supposed to do now? Just leave it there on my site and do nothing about it?

Really, it took all of five seconds to type "? vbplaza" into Internet Explorer and come up with this website - http://www.vbplaza.com/

Visiting that site and talking to the author of the software could net you the files. Just as sending a PM to him when you found the files had been deleted at their request here would have done.

You have tools at your disposal to resolve issues like this quite quickly.
