default font style original vbulletin
anyone know default font style original vbulletin? Arial / ?
|
Got to vBulletin.com forums and view their HTML source code...you will find it there :p
You should find it in the default skin anyway. |
the default is Verdana if i remember correctly.
|
It's main (preferred) font is Verdana, with a whole lot as a fallback.
Code:
verdana,geneva,lucida,'lucida grande',arial,helvetica,sans-serif |
Where is this option exactly?
|
Should be in your Styles CSS sheet IIRC
|
I've changed it in the Body section, but nothing changes.
Weird. |
If you look at the Main CSS, the font is defined in several classes besides just the Body. You need to change it in those other areas also.
|
Right, I saw that.
I'm looking for, and haven't been able to find, the size variable that affects the size of the thread titles in New Posts like in #9 of this picture. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2009/06/47.png |
Using firebug in firefox, I was able to change it by changing the css for "td, th, p, li" (the third one down inthe Main CSS list).
|
Ok, I was able to do it in my vbulletin default style - thank you.
However, one of my custom skins isn't responding at all to the same change. Is that a vBulletin option or a skin option? The author mentioned that the skin ran off the default font for the board, which eludes me. |
If it isn't working in your custom skin, then you most likely have another class effecting it and you'll have to change the text for that class.
|
The author was able to point it out. It was the alt1 and alt2 that was controlling the size. Thanks for your help, Lynne.
