Description:
This modification will allow you to deny your users to add link/s to their signatures if they have less post count than you defined in the options.

Feature:

• Enabling / Disabling the product.
• Deny adding links to signatures if the user has less post count than x.

Next Release:

• Deny adding sigpic to the signatures if the user has less post count than x.
• Deny editing the whole signature if the user has less post count than x.
• Exception usergroups.

This is great - I was looking for something like this because, I was getting problems a few months ago with bots signing up and adding tons of links in their signatures.

But this is nice :) I have got so many things stopping bots :D

It doesnt seem to work, actually, with the link title of pages mod...

, see i choosed 14 but every users can edit their sig right when join the forum

Users can edit their signatures, this doesn't prevent it.

What does this hack do?
Prevents putting a "link" to their signature before x posts.

Works with 3.7 ?

I don't think this works. Started using it a few weeks ago and users with 1 post are still getting signatures.

This mod is definitely not working. I am still getting new users with spam links in their sigs.

Has anything been created that works like this? I've seen others using some signature prevention method where you can only post a signature after X number of posts. I really need something of the like - I'm sure most of us do - since spammers are coming regularly to my forum.

Bummer... I just double checked - it definitely doesn't work... this was a super hack.

earlier this was working fine....but when I shifted to other host and also upgraded....this is not working at all....I re-installed it but in vain.....plz help

I installed this via the add/import product and i see listed as an installed product but where you you go to alter the number of post as described, this is the whole reason to install this mod but i cant find where to edit the settings. anyone ?
