Description:
This hack will let you move the threads automatically to the recycle bin forum when closing or deleting via thread tools or moderation tools.

Features:

• Enabling / disabling the hack.
• Disabling the hack in certain forums.
• Selecting the recycle bin forum.
• Moving thread to the recycle bin forum when closing via Thread Tools.
• Moving thread to the recycle bin forum when deleting via Thread Tools.
• Moving threads to the recycle bin forum when closing via Moderation Tools.
• Moving threads to the recycle bin forum when deleting via Moderation Tools.
• Not moving if the thread or threads is/are sticky.

Installation:

• Download the zip package
• Extract the package
• Upload functions_automove.php to your /includes directory.
• Import the product.

Next Release:

• An option to enable / disable moving when closing.
• An option to enable / disable moving when deleting.
• An update button to move old closed and deleted threads to the recycle bin forum.

Notes:
- If you face any error or find any bug in this script please let me know as soon as possible.
- Users who haven't clicked install will be considered as low priority.

how to chose more than one Exception Forum

Look at the Screenshots.

Example: 1,2,3,4,5

My Question: Is it possible to use it only for actions like deleting threads? I dont want to move my closed threads...

Interesting mod.
This would be useful to move closed threads out of our classified forums into the 'done' forum when they are closed. However, since we have a small number of classified forums, I could only use it if it were possible to specify the small number of forums to have the hack work on rather than the list of forums to exclude.

The next release will include an option to enable/disable move when closing / deleting.

btw - Also wondering.... Will this mod have any effect on the threads/posts that are already deleted or closed?

I will add a counter update button which will also move the deleted / closed threads to the recycle bin forum. This will also be in the next release. :)

My forum has over 100 parts, so i can not cope with the id settings. In next release is it possible to add a setting that will work over all parts of a forum?

The only forumid you have to enter is the id of the trash forum. :) And for disabling the hack in certain forums, I am thinking to add an Enable / Disable SM Auto Move Threads in This Forum link to each forum.

how do i make it so it moves it when the mod deletes it. i don't want to move it when a mod closes it.

I like the looks of this mod, but am waiting to install it until the enable/disable options are added, because I only want to move deleted threads, and not closed threads - sometimes I close threads that I simply don't want people to reply to, such as informational sticky threads.

The current product does not move the stickied threads. Sticky it first and then close it. It will stay in its forum.

This is a great mod. But the un-move option after close would be greater. Will you do it?

Has the 3.7 version even been released yet? Just wondering as I'm finally getting JPiC upgraded! This mod worked a treat on the 3.6 board - would like to have this again.

This was a great mod. Hope the author reborn it. And is there a way to move only posts? If you do not wish that closed threads (sticky or not) go to recycle bin just do this edition (in the product xml file):
