New Halo Site
 

I just recently created a new halo site, HaloArena.com. The template goes with the game but I haven't decided if I should use a banner. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

did you make it? it is very nice however, I dont think it is very "Halo" Maybe a Halo render in the baner?

Yes, I made it. I have been trying to get some kind of banner made, however I'm not a very good graphic designer so I need to wait until someone I know can make it for me.

What's Halo and what does this want from me? Kidding .. but you could use a nice image or something in that header and place a nice welcome message to tell us about your forums and why joining them would be a nice thing. So far the skin looks too "general".. It's nice and elegant, but too bland to attract me ..

you didnt make any of the skins on your board, they're from vbskinworks.

is it better to have html coding in your site or forum display and text like that....that might be confusing, so heres an example:

I'd work on the logo some more. Basically it is very cool, but I feel it need some more detail or dynamics.
You have two navbars with the same links on it. Better loose one or replace the links. Other than that; it's looking very nice.
Consider to either add more content or consolidate some forums.

for a halo forum i expected some Way better... its gaming... something like my new design ( not to show off or anything , just to point out what kind of theme your site needs for gaming )...

Good site though ,just needs some attractive gaming feel to it.
