Please Review my Board
 

I posted for a review of my board long ago, but our site has been massively updated and grown quite a bit since then, so I thought I'd post it up again.

VMKAdventure is a Disney community for Disney's online game, Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK). Our board is very community-based and we have an abundance of features, including vBlogetin, ibProArcade, User Pages, Javachat, MyMood Manager, an Award System, several custom skins, and "Quest Central", where members can test their knowledge on specific Disney-related topics for awards.

I recently upgraded the board to 3.6.8, so I am aware that there are a few bugs and am trying to figure out how to fix them (please see my thread in the vBulletin Discussion forum for details). To further explore the site before reviewing, feel free to use our test account (username test, password test).

Hmmmm - I am not a fan of that skin at all - It's not very easy on the eyes.

It's bright and can't really see the names of the forums AND seems like the logo/header has nothing to do with the look of the skin... Interesting choice no doubt - Seems like it would grab attention - but is it the right kind of attention? LOL

You do have quite a bit of content online and seems like you've a few dedicated Members with a fair number of posts for such a young forum. The amount of forums is nice.

I do like that you've got vBlogetin installed - Nice move and seems like your Members are really enjoying it!

The only thing really that stands out in my mind is the clash of colors though - With the green, lime, red and grey of the forum skin - the logo/header of purple and fuscia. The only thing I can really recommend is to get a custom skin.

Otherwise - Interesting forum.

i'm not a big fan of the skin, doesnt really flow well.

it all looks good but I would make the "Retro Red" style default and remove some of the other ones as the vast majority are too hard on the eyes. Otherwise I cannot give any other suggestions to you

Thank you on the input. I'm considering removing several of the skins (I realize they suck, they were mostly just practice). We're also working on some more that will hopefully flow a bit better.

Site looks good, but like the others have said, I don't like the skin. The colours are no good on the eyes and personally I don't like the navigation bar

takes forever to load so i closed down IE

We were having some server issues earlier, everything seems to be alright now.

i do use Firefox at times but its not my main Browser

also m8 your board is fast so i must of logged in when u had server probs as u posted above.

I'm glad you had a better experience this time. Our hosting is usually pretty good, apologies for the slowdown time.
