Brief Introduction:

What we have here is an expansion of a lot of tools that deal with ?effective? communication with your forums members by and through the vBulletin forums system. As you know there are many modifications on the vBulletin.org website that?ll help you manage all of these means, some are lacking other essential needs or you are simply too tired to figuring out which one doesn?t work with what hack. Overall, we have built EPC vBMailer to be the overall and ONLY solution to your vBulletin e-mailing needs. Because you request it in here, we will build it without any questions!

After endless reading on the forums at vbulletin.org, we have found it to be a wise decision to release a LITE and a FULL version, basically a trial version before you buy? Where the trial will not ever end, it?s just a lighter version to the FULL version which has an extended amount of features in it that handles ALL of your e-mailing needs in one!

Review Campaigns Overview:

• Track how each of your campaigns is doing, by looking at how many emails were SENT, FAILED and READ
• Delete any upcoming campaigns

Bounce Management Overview:

• No more annoying bounce emails filling your Inbox
• Every time the cron runs, it automatically sets the email status to inactive on any bounced emails
• PM sent to user to update his/her e-mail address!

So basically you would setup and form e-mail going out to all as an example:

Conclusion:

You have installed at LEAST 5+ separate hacks to mount up to what we just created but coded you here in the LITE version, do note this, in the FULL version for less than a happy meal you will have even more flexibility. Whether you wanted to run a newsletter, or send out a series of e-mails (autoresponders) or simply schedule the sending times and letting EPC vbMailer will do it for you seamlessly.

In the LITE version, you will need to note, there is a set limit on how many e-mails that can be sent out due to the core of the LITE wasn?t designed to handle UNLIMITED.

Make sure you check it out in the LITE first to see if this is something you would like, with full SUPPORT too you if you clicked install. Bottom line, we are just happy to accommodate anyone and everyone.

How do I get support?

Also comes with a 22 page End-User Documentation, all clean and sectioned out for you in PDF. Make sure you have Adobe READER v6+ not a RIPPER :)

However if you have questions before installing do let us know, we have tested this on 3.6.8, and if you have a forums that is prior, please let us know if this works and report this here! Others will appreciate it a lot.

All support for the LITE version will be held here only if you click install, and if you purchase the full version all support is handled in the order received by our full-time reps in the CSC, NO support is held here for the FULL version!

So here's the LITE version and it comes with a full set of instructions and if you require any assistance on how to find feeds and what places are best for feeds, do post them in here.

1. Differences are not much but more flexibility and support for sending out unlimited vs the LITE not coded to have support for sending out Autoresponders and not able to handle unlimited e-mails as two main differences, each one has the same features, just in the FULL you have more control over the settings and it handles unlimited. For you to see the difference of the two you should go to the webpage for the FULL and compare it via screenshots if needed. Overall we have ALOT of copies sold, but you are well known to be as a supporter, we aren't making profits, we are simply getting ready to release many more hacks for the community, namely our last ones here:

There is already one of vb.org but it is buggy, and it does not have the feature to make up a different email template per subscription.

If you can do this, then I would call it a All in ONE E-mail Solution and would buy it for sure!

I Just want to say thank you for this, especially for autoresponder.

You are welcome, and do note the LITE wasn't designed for the AR = Autoresponder, so therefore you can work with by saving them and if you like this whole addition, feel free to check out the FULL version, it's just about as a tough as it gets! I think there is NOTHING in there for a full e-mail solution that any webmaster needs if they own vBulletin.

However that's my opinion and it comes with a product installer, 22 page manual, and so much more. Even comes with our support!

How so, if a person clicks install, adds it to their vB and gives us feedback then we add it. In your case we love you and will do what we can here on that... If we add that feature then we should raise the prices after adding it or before?

Show me the buggy solution that you are referencing so I can see what you mean fully.

Side note: It is an all-in-one solution already, not another hack is like this!

Yes, absolutely, if they belong to your forums, you can simply mail them to your fingers can't mail no more. Everything works behind the scenes, you set the templates up, you go to compose email, select the first template you want mailed, hit next, preview the email and set the times you want it gone. It all works off the clocks :) or you can mail it right then and there.

It's all up to you. Also, works behind the scenes so you don't have to hit the button next after so many and etc... The FULL version has a sleeper which you can send in intervals at your choosing, i.e. 5 emails sleep however many seconds... 10 emails per however many seconds... and etc...

What do you think of that? Works for you?

YES absolutely, however do note this... If their e-mail client they use has it set to txt format, and you send an e-mail plus text version. vbMailer will figure it out and serve them the right one. Meaning the system is totally smart!

ok what abour performance : i have a 30 000 user database, Will it affect my server if i mass email all of them an html newsletter "around 100 k". but no inline images ...just linked.

I use oximailing now ...and it gives me statistics like ...opened mails, clicks etc : sends reports.

Do you think your futur releases will have that ?

Looks very promising. A couple of questions.

1 - You talk about the full version having a "Sleep" timer between batches of emails. Is there a limit to how long this can be set? For example, my old host only allowed 200 emails per hour, so I would want to set it at 150 each hour.

2 - For newsletter type function, is there a publicly viewable archive that could be activated. This way past newsletters could be browsed. Not a huge deal if it is not, could just duplicate the newsletter in a archive thread...but it would make for a nice feature.

We have over 7.3 Million in a database you think we will release something that can't handle the load of it all? Yes you can send this with our tool, we got clients using this tool and other tools on "SHARED" hosting with 5GB databases full of email addresses... This is a branch off our MadMailer.

I have no idea who oximailing is, and don't actually care to, but they don't have a vb product do they? Heck our own AR MadMailer can plug into anything. You should check it out in my Sig and compare that against OXIMailing.

Future releases all depend on what YOU need or want in the tool.

No limits, but as you know this is PHP and what is your max run time on a script to run within your php.ini? Well if you figure there are 150 per hour / 60 minutes = 2.5 a minute am I right? Will your php.ini allow you to run a script and allow it to sleep for a few between emails? Why would a host only allow 200 per hour? I would be changing hosts if I seen 200 per hour.................. :eek:

I was hoping this would also be system that allows your users to send out e-mails to others. You know their screename would be their web-address: "vbulletin@vbulletin.com". Is this in the full version?

There is a hack for this, and I can't recall the name... Ours is for the admins and owners of the forums.

How do you know and figure? They aren't sent out as CC, you set your own settings to whatever you need, it's speculation rather than facts, where do you see this happening because it's coming from your FORUMS.... So you configure it to your likings! Maybe you have had a raw deal with some can't just going around speculating on something you haven't installed, if you aren't posting in retrospect to our hack I asked that you not post in our description.

No I think there may have been some confusion before.

Basically the paid subscriptions in vbulletin when someone signs up and buys something from the forums/payments.php page there is no email/pm notification sent to them. For people who use the paid subscriptions in vbulletin for one thing or another, it is quite often very useful to set up a email/pm notification to say thanks, or to let them know what they have to do next, or to let them know what features that now have access to etc. but currently there is only one mod on vbulletin.org that does this, but it is buggy.

I pretty much want the exact same mod that I showed you before (the premium version of it), with the extra feature I suggested (being able to set up unique emails for each different subscription you have set up) and without the bugs that it comes with.

If that was provided in this mod (or as a separate mod) but I think it comes under the inclusion of this mod as it is a All in One Email solution. It would really make my day!

OK when I visit /admincp/vbmailer_config.php I get a blank page. I have uploaded the file in ASCII mode and I have installed the product.

Maybe you could have a "vbMailer" option in "vBulletin Options" instead. :)
