Going to be away for awhile
 

Hey all, as a lot of you may have noticed, I haven't been very active the past week or so. Mainly because I am leaving for boot camp on 23 AUG 07 for the U.S. Navy and will be away for.....probably 8-9 months (I have Boot Camp, then "A" School, then FMF (Fleet Marine Force) which all HM's are required to go through now.) but I will be back. I just passed everything I need to yesterday, so I am officially going in as an E-2 (Seaman Apprentice).

If anyone wants to help support my modifications while I am gone, I would appreciate it but of course, that is up to you.

So, anyone have any advice, suggestions, etc. for me?

Well everyone, this is my last full day at home. My parents are taking me out to dinner later tonight and I leave tomorrow morning.

Thanks to everyone for helping me get as far as I have with coding and whatnot, especially since I'll probably have to start over when I get back. But when I do, I should only need a refreshment on a few things.

I'm going to miss everything and everyone here in the time I am gone, but I WILL be back.

The first week will prolly suck, but once you get in the routine of things, I'm sure you'll be okay :)

Don't go getting shot now, I expect to see you back around the forums when your done :)

Hey guys. How's everyone doing? I'm still at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, IL. I graduated boot camp on 19 OCT 07 and I head off to my "A" School for job training on 27 OCT 07. I don't know how much I'll be on here in the time I'm at Great Lakes but I'll still stop in every once in awhile to check up on things. Anyway, hope to see you guys around a lot more here soon.

Hey everyone, how are all of you? It's been a long time since I've been on here and posted or even submitted any modifications or updated any of my modifications.

Anyway, I would just like to explain my absence in case a lot of you may not know.
On:
- 23 AUG 07: I officially swore into the Navy and flew to Recruit Training Command (RTC) Great Lakes, IL for boot camp.
- 19 OCT 07: I graduated boot camp
- 23 OCT 07: I arrived at my "A" School in Great Lakes, IL (Naval Hospital Corps School (NHCS)).
- 14 MAR 08: I graduated NHCS as a Navy Corpsman
- 20 MAR 08: I fly to Camp Lejeune, NC for FMTB (Field Medical Training Batallion) with the 2nd Marine Division and scheduled to graduate some time in July.

So, with that being said, HOPEFULLY after I graduate from FMTB in July, I will be able to update all of my modifications...........and my website, and be able to provide more support on everything and help out around here again. I apologize for any inconvenience that my absence has or may cause, but I promise, I will be back again.

The military, huh? Good for you, sir. I'm sure it's changed from when I was in, 30 years ago. I've been to the Great Lakes Region Naval area. Nice place. ;)

Yeah, too freakin' cold for me though and snows WAY too much, hahaha.

I've been to Camp Lejeune, NC many times also. I was at Ft. Bragg with the 82nd Airborne ;)

Yeah, from all of the other Corpsmen I've talked to, Camp Lejeune is pretty fun. But, we'll see.

Well, it was fun if you were U.S. Army as we loved to taunt them. ;)

Yeah, all is well for now. I fly to Camp Lejeune, NC tomorrow afternoon so.....wish me luck. :)
