This hack shows in forum home Latest Threads IN Marquee
[Hack Features::.
1-easy yo install
[See Screen Shots]
Admin Controllable
From vBulletin Options ==> vBulletin Options ==> Latest Threads IN Marquee]

Installation::.
1-Import Product Latest Threads IN Marquee to show the hack in forumhome only, or Latest Threads IN Marquee2 to show the hack in any area of ur forum.
2-Edit Template FORUMHOME ((if u use product #1)) or any other template ((if u use prodcut #3))

it lags a wee bit after loading the site. The idea is cool, you should make the "Latest Threads::.." phrase editable from the hack options ;)

Works for VB 3.70 and 3.71 :)

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to make this work with VBAdvanced? Everything works until someone clicks on the link... I have put showthread.php in the global settings... I've tried it in each category "header, Navbar and Footer Replacements" but still no joy...

If i hover over the link it does show all the details as normal, it just doesn't convert to the right url...

Just so you know, i use VBAdvanced from my server document root and the forums is in the /forums/ directory :)

Any help is appreciated :)

OK. You can now put the marquee in its own custom box.

In the FORUMHOME template find this code: $navbar

Add this below it:

title does work on fire fox but does not work on IE
I mean when you put mouse over threads title there will pop up small box with thread info like thread starter and last poster in the thread and which forum the thread in

if anyone can fix this it will be good

another thing is that it does not work with vbadvanced

I've been using this forever and it works great. One problem though...

Is there any way to modify this somehow to exclude posts from certain usergroups or to exclude posts that are waiting moderation? I have spam prevention that kicks suspected spam posts into moderation que so they do not show up in the forums, but the spammers have figured out that even though their spam isn't showing in the forums... it IS showing in the latest post marquee which is in my header on the home page (front and center right where they want it... ugh).

Anyone... help? Please? :)
