Please rate my forum. We're a miscellaneous forum where we talk about everything ranging from politics, to gaming, to computers, to media. The current default skin is ripped from another site. This forum has been up a little over one year and it has been my main hobby.

The forum statistics are: Threads: 6,904, Posts: 57,488, Members: 4,664.

Well I've tried to contact Garry but he never answers. Only reason we copied your skin is because I love facepunch. I looked at the bottom of your site on the footer and I didn't see anything about a copyright about he skin so I assumed it was okay to replicate. There was some other site that did the same (blogpunch?) and they said Garry didn't care.

I even said "The current default skin is ripped from another site." Don't worry, we're in the process of creating a new skin anyway.

None of the images are copyrighted, not even the logo. There is no copyright at the bottom of the website regarding the skin.

Ah thank you so much, UgLy-NeRd. Does the work ethical mean anything to you? Just because it isnt copyrighted doesnt mean it allows you to rip it pixel by pixel, including the logo.

When you take time to create something for your site, it is a little unfair to see it stolen by another for their benefit because they cannot take the time to come up with their own style, they cant even come up with their own logo.

You Fail. Regardless of what the website says, our logo is copyright, you would do best to remove it at the very least.

Ripping is not flattering. It's sad. If someone else put a lot of work into a site, it's pretty pathetic to steal it w/o their consent.

Alrite, please give me some time so I can put a replacement logo for the site, I'll try to change around some other things as well.

Not taking an side in this discussion, but any original work is implicitly copyrighted. It does not matter if you place a copyright warning on the site or not.

I've removed the logo and I'll start changing some other stuff. If you need to contact me, you have my MSN.

You learn to deal with some things in life. My shit gets ripped all the time, my source codes get ripped, ALL THE TIME. Some things you have to deal with.
