The only problem is I cannot get this to work with postbit_legacy the icon does not show even in the default style.

I have already selected a forum for the reports to go to.

Bug:

No Notificationmail is send if no Forums is choosen for 'Report PM'. So if you dont want Notifications as a Thread nobody gets any other Notification.

Uninstalled and waiting for Fix.

Well, I think 'I have to' since my board is for teenagers, and I don't want creepy ppl around them :P

I am really going to add this, after some abuse in PMs recently. Plus, this should be a default feature by now in at least one piece of forum software...

I wrote this same mod for vB 3.0.x a few months ago for a forum I moderate - knew it'd only be a matter of time before someone did it for 3.6 :)

Great! I like this.

I have one suggestion though. Since I don't/won't have a PM reader, I can't see the sender. Perhaps you can optionally have a "private" mode disabled where it shows the sender of the PM. I mean, I can go to PHPmyAdmin and look up the sender ID, and then look up the owner of that sender ID.. but the question is.. should I have to?

Also, if you look at your own messages in the sent box, you can report your own PMs... that looks like it'll be prone to "I'm bored" abuse.

Other than that, it's awesome.

It's intended to be that way, sending an email out is really no use in my opinion. So it's not a bug.
That is a default feature of vBulletin.
I'll look into it.

This is a very useful modification. I have had my users physically send me any "silent advertising" new members have attempted using the PM system. This simplifies the process and should help me erradicate those losers using my site to advertise theirs. I like modifications like this. Thanks for sharing it! (I never even thought of writing something like this for my site. lol)

This is a brilliant modification for my forum, it being a support side.
And the option of being able to report abusive PM's is awesome

Just a note to say that this was about the easiest mod I've installed in vB. (ver3.6.8)

Import it, create a forum and it works.

No mess, no fuss.
