Donation Progress Bar CMPS Add on
 
This is an add on for the Donation Progress Bar. It will put the donation bar on your CMPS Homepage.

Requirements:
  • This was tested using Vbadvanced CMPS 3.0
  • Donation Progress Bar Mod installed

Installation:
  • Upload the donations.module via admincp->CMPS->upload/download
  • Set your permisions and be sure the module is active on the home page.

Updates:
  • 1.00 Initial release
  • 1.01 Changed the module format from php file to template only with a conditional. I provided two zip files one for those that run CMPS 2.21 anf one for CMPS 3.0
  • 1.02 Added support for cyb paypal Mod integration Thanks to AWJunkies
  • 1.03 Added compatability with current version of Donation Bar mod
[*] 1.04 fixed issue with not being able to show donor bar in any column on VBA

How to update:
The best way to upgrade since I changed the format is to delete the existing Donation Bar module thru Admincp. vBA CMPS->edit module->select the donation bar module->in the drop down under controls select Remove module you can also delete the donationbar.php file from the forum->modules folder. Then upload the new module and make sure it active on the Homepage.

Please report any and all bugs within this thread with as much detail as possible. Click Mark as Installed for support and so that you will be notified instantly upon any major updates.

Sorry people I made a mistake uploading the zip file. I uploaded an old module that was for another paypal hack I use on my site. I have re-uploaded the correct module and it should be ok now.

This is or can only be used if you have vBadvanced CMPS installed. Look here

Did you upload the module through admincp-> CMPS->upload/download with out error, if so make sure that its enabled on your home page.

Go to Admincp->Styles/Templates->Vbadvanced templates->adv_portal_donationbar. Just copy and past the HTML as in the other template.

Also, is there a way to have the month's donors from Cyb - PayPal Donate appear in a table below the donation button along with their donated amount? Maybe something for the future?

benjaminbih what version of CMPS are you using? Its looking for a column called 0 in the adv_module table which should not be there.

I would need the authors permision and it would be a specific addon to Cyb - PayPal Donate. I have not looked at his mod but I am sure it can be done.

So thes are the versions of vBa and vB i use on my server:

vBadvanced CMPS v2.2.1 (vB 3.6.7)

You should upgrade your CMPS to 3.0 for the vb version your using. I created the module with 3.0.

Are you updating or first time install?
This is an addon of the Donation Progress bar-forumhome mod you must have it installed for this to work.
Please click install for support.

I added a change to green already when the donation percent reaches 100% in the main hack for this add on. It can also be edited to show yellow at 50% but I have not implemented that.

one slight problem, I have it all installed, but

I see no progress bar on my cmps page, only on my regular page does the bar show, the amount put in..

on the cmps page it show the amount put in say 10 of 50 the bar is completely blank, but on the forum homepage it show the bar in red, and the amount donated and still owing...

any ideas

Which version did you download cmps2.21 or 3.0. Also Pm me with your site URL.
I just did a fresh reinstall of the cmps 3.0 version and it appears to work correctly for me on 3.6.8

Make sure that you have your URL for home page set up in properly and poll images in your styles as this calls the forum/images/polls/bar image .

The vBadvanced was setup by Brian from vBadvanced so I will assume it's correct, not sure what or how to check it to make sure the URL is correct
