google adsense search automatic integration

hi folks,

This will add google adsense search to your forums search menu (in the navbar template. It will do this automatically after you import the product. All you still need to do your self is setup your google adsense information in the template called "googlesearch"
  • 1 product
  • 1 template
  • 2 plugins

You have to adjust some things in that template... like the url ($vboptions[bburl]/ would be a good choice), adsense code, colors and probably others.

Same Here

Delphiprogrammi 07-29-2007 11:08 AM

updated it has a settings group now where you can enter some information about your adsense account. You must goto www.google.com/adsense/ login and generate this information in case you do not know what it is

if the searchbar is not appering then the only reason i can think of is that you are either using a vBulletin version that doesn't have the templates hooks or you do use a version that should have this but you screwed up :D

Which hooks should we have? How do you screw up importing a product? :D

Endurer 07-29-2007 05:12 PM

Is it possible to add it in 'search this forum' drop down?

How about YOU SCREWED UP and didnt consider CUSTOM STYLES which ALLOT of us use. If you dont want to include us please make it clear when you release something.
Why dont you try including some directions for editing the templates to make this search appear. All though I wont be using any of your hacks or recommending them since you DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING

I have a question: after I have replacement the navbar text in manualinstall.txt, it looks
like it worked. So what does product google.xml help you? I tried to see the plug-in manager,
how can I use the plug-in manager (what can I change?)?
thanks.

Installed. FYI to those having problems, this product comes disabled by default (atleast for me). I spent quite some time digging through the coding to figure out what I did wrong... damn I'm a newb. :o
