every reported post gets the status "to moderate" on reporting

First post, First install and i can safely say it works great :)

Surely this would invite abuse? Perhaps it could only be hidden if there were X number of reports?

remember that this version only send the post to moderation ONLY if you set the Report Post to send emails...

i haven't found an other hook there
because i haven't found an "good" hook for this!

on report_start,report_form_start its to early
so there is no other way, without an fileedit

since yesterday i'm thinking about, how to solve this problem because:

with this hack someone can "emty" your community, if he reports all the posts^^
with an floodprotection the problem couldn't be solved

so your idee is a realy good idee!

Hmm, I like it. If someone abuses the system by reporting posts that shouldn't be reported, then action should be taken against them.

This would be cool if once the post was reported the report button would be hidden instead of the post so other members could not keep reporting the same thing :D

Then once the report has been seen by a mod they could then press a button in the reported thread to enable the report button again.

how do you use this product? How do you configure it?

If a post is reported by two members or more, then it would be very nice if it goes to moderated status. That would quickly take care of problematic posts.
Another approach would be to be able to set the member groups that can cause a post to become a moderated post. For example: one post report by a forum elder should cause the post to become moderated, as I would not expect abuse from an high ranked member.

now the plan is:

no that is not possible at moment and will not be possible too
it's easier to just hide and unhidde it, instead of moving a post to another thread and then back without knowing, from where the post is..
so this is more work

hmm...installed...
and works fine on my 3.6.8 board...but it would've been better if it would show a message like this (attached image). Just hiding it has no point imo...I'd appreciate, if you could add this feature in the next update.

should this been shown just for normal users and mods & admins see the post as at moment or should everyone see it like on the picture?

Everyone should see this. It sends a clear message that the board is well moderated and the community helps moderating the board. So in this respect showing this, will act as a deterrent for potential rule breaches.
