guest can't play anymore

after upgrading to new version i get this error msg while playing as a guest:
"Notice: Cookies are required to proceed beyond this point"

after logging in everything is ok. where is the problem?

guests do not have an unique userid, so we use cookies to store their sessiondata.
If cookies are blocked by the browser, they can't play.
All registered users that log in do not use cookies to store their sessiondata...

but i use cookies too and a can't play as a guest.
and i see on "who is online" that all guests get an error msg.

Also on my arcade board , some error... cookies are enabled, all function are ok.

please enable the (new) debug-mode:
open /arcade.php
right at the beginning you see $DEBUG=0; set this to 2 (verbose mode) and tell me the output when getting the error again.

Remember to reset this value to 0 after this is done ;)

maybe check level is wrong... If i delete this line guest can play.

I am getting the cookie message as well. I have gotten this in multiple computer/browser configs. Cookies are enabled on all of the computers I have tested this on. I am also not getting an error message when I set the Debug to 2. Permissions are set correctly (guests can view and play but not save).

Am I missing anything else?

Hmm, this appears if the cookie could NOT be saved.

Please tell me your mailaddress via PM and I will provide you an adapted arcade.php with debug-output to see what is going wrong there

Ok, I see the problem and try to fix this ...

ok, I see that I had a logical problem while implementing a "cookie-checker", did a fix and will release this soon (v2.6.3+)
Will first patch some other bugs and then we hopefully have it ;)

oops, sorry, wrong thread, thought it was the "post per day" thing...

guests can play in v2.6.3+ again, which is coming in the next days

Any word on timing of 2.6.3+? I've got a bunch of guests starting to circle the place with pitchforks and torches...

Also I'm going on vacation so I'm guessing that it will come out the day after I leave and everybody will have to wait a while...

Yes, guest now can play but the option not to allow guest save score is not working....

I got this error when guest tried to save score:

mySQL query error: SELECT * FROM games_list WHERE gid=
