User selected username color via user cp
 

It would be excellent if someone could create a modification that will allow members to choose their name color via their user cp.

I can't even count how many times a mod like this has been requested.

I somehow doubt its even possible for a username color change by ID.

Already writing. Change color by ID, "rainbow" nickname colors (on each refresh colors changes), two or more colors for nickname, colored background. You can see it working on my board.

Shweet. Any idea how long it will be until its finished?

Now i have only one trouble: i dont want to do extra SQL query, but it seems that i need it, and not one query, but a query for each user...
So, when i make it without extra SQL query it will be released.

I can hardly wait ...but thank you for replying to this thread and letting me know that you are creating this great modification.

This is already up, been up for a few years I think. It's not a mod, it is a template modification. Users can style their username with a color, a glow color, a font and bold it if they wish aswell through their user CP. Have a look around, you'll find it.
