Just got back from the movies (with my family) ... the Transformers movie is da-bomb!

Jam packed action and fun! :up::up:

It will break records. If you haven't seen it go see it.

Im Going tomarrow to see it , Would of went today but everywhere i seen online said it was coming out on the 3rd ,,, I guess it came out on the 2nd ,,, All the trailers say 4th

Cool, I was hoping it would get some good reviews. I'm seeing it this week. :)

I've heard only good things about the new Transformers movie and I'll definitely be seeing it when I can be find time to make it down to the local cinema. And I'm likin' the look of Optimus' new 'flaming' paint-job, too; makes him look much cooler. :D

and they released the 20th anniversary version of the original Transformers the Movie... my son watched it last week, in the upcoming waiting moment to go to the movies and see the new one...

I've been a fan of Transformers since they came out - I had Optimus Prime in real metal, that is a first generation toy not the crappy plastic they used shortly after,.

I'm planning to see it in the next 2/3 weeks.

It beats Cinderella and the fairyland umpalumpa's though.

Although I am not a transformers fan, I am always up for a nice action flick, so I will probably see it this weekend.

I just saw this, and I was pretty disappointed. The plot was very weak (destructible power coming from a cube... ) and the action wasn't too entertaining. There were some funny moments, though. If Megan Fox wasn't in the movie, I think I would have fell asleep a lot quicker. ;)

I think I was just completely turned off by the movie, the plot was just too entirely pathetic....I'm not saying that there was no action in the movie, I just don't think it saved the movie from being a complete flop (in my opinion).

I do have a confession, I did go to the movie without sleeping in the past 24 hours, so that may of had an affect on my opinion of the movie.

The new Die Hard movie's action was very entertaining, I thought. :D

Wow, double WOW and TRIPLE WOW!! If you like action movies with high-end CGI then this is your movie. GO TO SEE THIS MOVIE! If you are a techie or someone who just like "on your edge" type movie, then GO! Remember how you felt as you walked out of the theater the first time after you watched "Independence Day"? The entire theater was clapping and cheering, it was so COOL! Could be one of the best adaption of a comic book or cartoon ever made, special effects are best that anyone has ever seen! Awesome FLICK!! We'll be going back to TWICE and will likely see it a few more times before it's theater run is over. You don't have to have _ever_ seen any of the cartoons to understand the plot. It's a nice touch that they had the original voice character from the TV series as Optimus Prime ^_^. The characters are easy to love and hate with their own distinct personalities that really show well on the big screen. Great effects and the "autobots" themselves are purely STUNNING!!! Explosions, robots, car chases, explosions, guns, robots, lots of humor, robots and some explosions.

Micheal Bay brings emotion and humor to bring the movie beyond the stereotypical big budget explosive action flick. The supporting cast as well fill in the gaps to what really makes the movie shine: the Robots. Yes the robots are fantastic. The effects for the robots alone make this an Oscar movie. Each robot has its own "personality" of sorts and appeal to both the fan boys and new comers alike. Bumblebee will be a favorite of the kids and having Peter Cullen adding voice work for Optimus Prime is icing on the cake. A must see movie.

One disappointment about the movie was starscream lack of +++++yness towards Megatron otherwise best movie of the year.

I haven't seen Transformers since I used to watch the cartoons about 15/16 years ago - I'm definately gonna go and see it :D

Now that's a great review! If only all reviews (newspaper,etc) were written in a similar style (describes type of person who would like the the movie) .. I would be more happy. :up:
