Pretty damn good. *Claps*
I saw the video, and it pretty much summarized everything.
I did get a chance to try out a beta on another site. :)

looks nice :)

Ohiosweetheart 07-02-2007 11:38 PM

And I'm hoping, now that the Project Tools is available, that beta testing for vB Blog won't be far behind... ;)

$50 .. WOW ..
This pro version of this one does the same and looks better IMHO .. Costs less than $10

that does look good. I wonder what the differences is ?
Just like the difference in www.vblogetin.com and the new vB blog ?

Just bought vB PT and it doesn't let users create their own projects ;/

Ask what you need it to do before buying it, because it's pretty basic.

I disagree that it is basic. Sure it would be cool to let users create their own projects, but saying that is no different than saying that vB should let users create their own forums. I have never seen a project manager that lets users create and manage projects I am not sure why you would have expected that functionality.

We have Manits (our current tracker) integrated into vBulletin (login-wise) but would love to have the whole thing in vBulletin.

Does vBulletin Project Tools have time tracking?

And billing (at least a report) based on a hourly rate?

Our current issue / bugtracker (mantis) does this - and it is a critical function (at least for us).

Any comments appreciated.

Awesome! I'll bet a lot of people have been waiting for this... ;)

Triky 07-04-2007 12:50 PM

I hope to win that on vBFans. :)

all users not!
but usergroups should!
why shoud the admin have all the work with "putting projects into the db and setting it up"?
i'd like to have a group of projectmanagers wich is for this works

There's no time tracking on PT.

So true, very true, I am intrested in seeing what the differences are between these versions, support is different for vbuletin's version hopefully, if the ticket system is available for this then thats a big bonus...

Omfg.. you have to pay 160$ and 30$ a year for the forum software.. this is a joke, it should have been free add-on jesus, just shows that there only doing this for the money... not for the customers, and actually bring out a new addon POS imo.. never paying anything directly to vBulletin again. ever.

LewisAinslie 07-15-2007 02:17 PM

I agree with that, we should not hvae to pay for something that they charged us a lot already for.

They haven't charged you for project tools. It's a new piece of software.

When you buy a games console you don't get the games free, how is this any different ?

nexialys 07-15-2007 07:24 PM

people think that when they buy a software, the whole industry is in their pocket...

$50 for a piece of software with this functionality is incredibly cheap. Cheers to vb for continued low-cost excellence.

amnesia623 07-16-2007 03:55 AM

I'm waiting for the blogs/social networking aspect as I think this is needed much more than project tools. Although I'm not complaining, just happy VB is diversifying. :)

towermatt 08-06-2007 06:07 PM

I bought the vBulletin software...now give me a key to your house

This looks great to me and totally worth the 50 imo.

When I get it, we are going to use it to plan "fair" type get together's.
