League, Ladder and Tournament system
 

While i have seen some hacks that cater for leagues, ladders and tournaments, they are either quite buggy, older than 3.5, not vb supported or non-existent. (if im wrong, let me know).

What kind of hack am i talking about?

Basically, its a competition system for sports, both real and cyber, that;

• displays a standings including wins, losses, draws, points, etc.
• automates the challange system, that is;

-player/team challanges another player/team, choosing several times and days and several different maps/locations.
-challanged player/team either accepts the challange or forfiets the challange. if accept then choose one time and map/location. This will be the final challange details.
- challanger then confirms the match.
-match is played.
-winner or loser (depending on the setting) then posts the scores.
-winner or loser(whoever didnt post scores)then confirms the win/loss.
-league/ladder/tournamant standings are then automatically updated.

• Ability to cater for the following types of competition.

-1v1
Where one player vs another player.

-Team Based
Where the player count per team = >2

-Deathmatch/racing
Where players are competing all at the same time. eg soccor is a team based game, car racing is not.

Why build this mod?

Many gaming sites use vb as their standard CMS. All the league systems that i have seen are either unsupported or featurless. None of the scripts that i have seen encompus all three types of competition, ladders, leagues and tournaments.

More than likley this would be a great paid-for mod.

The modification you are linking to has been removed as it contained vulnerabilities. ;)

i finished up one almost like this last year... its for gambling though, not on sports, but on custom events.

the problem with mygamingladder is it is not at all integrated with VB :(

I know Michael released a new commercial version of MMLeague.

Did anyone ever find or create a mod like this? I'm VERY interested in incorporating this on my site.

anyone made any over the last 5 years? i like banna lives but my site is stuck on vb 3.8 and hes not updating the vb 3.8 version of his mod
