big-boards.com MIA?
 

Anyone know what the scoop is with big-boards? I've submitted my site quite some time ago and never heard anything. Another site that I used to run (sitting at 1.5M posts) hasn't had it's "rank" updated in a very long time.

If the admin's indeed MIA, it could be a pretty good opportunity for someone else to take on.

It looks like it has been abandoned which is a shame

That is sad that such a popular site has been ditched.

We were added a few months ago, so I know they were checking it then. Submitted around April I think.

and there's not another option to Big-Boards.com? :confused:

Yea, they have been MIA for a long time I think. I've been trying to update my Forum info on there too no avail.

agree. I have submitted two sites and nothing in six months for one and 3 for the other.

No response, no addition, nothing. :confused:

That is such a shame.

I used to be an admin in a site that got submitted about 1,5 year ago.
Guess what? It still isn't listed.

I was so excited to finally reach 500 000 posts last month and submitted straight away, and still have not been submitted, Im not so excited now lol

You'd think they would sell it if they don't have the time for it.

Ditto here... And now we're at 1.2M.. still waiting.... I was really excited, wish I'd known that it was MIA before!!

Yea...I submitted in June. Still nothing.

They are back in business, however, it looks like unless you want to pay 20 bucks, it will take 1-5 years to get your site listed. Yes. 5 years. lol

I can't believe it took them this long to turn it into a paid directory.

Yea we've been waiting for a long time as well.

Not sure who is at the wheel anymore over there. I brought up the issue of what is currently the #12 forum Jogos seeming to inflate their stats and Quentin replied (the guy who used to run it).

I was under the impression that it had changed hands at some point. At any rate, Jogos, part of the uol.com.br network is reporting aggregated stats for all of the forums located on uol.com.br, instead of just the Jogos site. I thought that was a little weak since they aren't the same site.

You think it's worth the 20 bucks? I'm sure my site is lost in the queue somewhere.
